Kaida's POV I didn't even know when I drifted off to sleep, shivering like hell the previous night. It surprised me how well I slept, knowing full well that tonight, during the full moon, was Alpha Kael's mating ceremony. I turned over, facing the other side of my bed, and as I felt my lips, I remembered Alpha Luther's kiss. I remembered everything he told me. He was the first person to tell me I wasn't weak. All my life, I had been told how useless I was. Although Alpha Kael said the same thing to me, that I was special, now knowing he was only using and discarding me.
