Gina's POV Yes, Kaida was right. I felt guilty for what I did to her. Since she arrived, she had been nothing but kind to me, and I knew if Alpha Kael made her his mate, we would finally be free from the poisonous Soraya. My palms were sweaty as I hurried back inside, praying no one noticed I was out of the chambers. I hoped Kaida made it out of the pack in time, but the problem was she didn’t trust me—and who could blame her? But I had to help her escape, at least to make me feel less guilty.
