I had every right to ask Criseda the question I asked her. Not that I doubted her, but it was just weird that I had no memory of that night.
The same first and only night that I laid my hands on her and she got pregnant.
I remembered nothing. Absolutely nothing. It was almost like that particular day just faded away right from my memory.
Everyone was happy about the news. Of course I didn't expect anything less. Criseda was carrying an heir, the heir to the throne so their reaction was normal.
Why me on the other hand, nah….. I felt nothing. I wasn't happy as I was meant to. This was supposed to mean a lot to me.
I was supposed to be extremely happy and joyous but I wasn't. And no matter how much I tried to be, I just couldn't.
