Damon's POV
No matter how I tried not to use the path that led to Alpha Luther's palace, my feet, and heart walked together against my will. I just wanted to see Kaida's face, whether it was to check out the face of a woman I was getting insulted because of or if it was because I was missing seeing her face even when I had just left her a few minutes ago, I didn't know but my feet took me in that direction.
I will only walk past like I am going somewhere, I told myself.
"Kaida! Kaida!" Someone called a few meters away from me and I felt goosebumps pour all over my skin.
I knew that voice, it was Alpha Luther's. Even if I didn't, only one person would call the Luna by her name.
What exactly was I attracted to in a woman who was pregnant for someone else, my Alpha, for that matter?
