I heard a deep, commanding voice from behind, I tried to turn my head but I was unable to because Alpha Kael's guard had me pinned to the ground.
“I said let her go!” the voice commanded again, but the guard paid no attention.
He yelled back, “Who the hell are you to tell me what to do?! You are in our territory!”
The stranger’s voice came once more, low and dangerous, “I am not going to repeat myself. Let her go or—”
“Or what?!”
The guard cut him off, but then there was a ferocious roar that seemed to shake the very earth in which I was pinned to by Alpha Kael's guard.
I could hear bones cracking and muscles stretching as the stranger transformed into his werewolf form, the sound was really terrifying.
