Chapter 1: Blood.
I walk through the hallways, seeing red blood pooling at my feet. It's horrifying, seeing the blood of your friends at your feet. I lost my entire family to a terrorist attack, so these people were all I had. And now, it's all gone. I look up, seeing the massive creature looming over their dead bodies. It's a massive creature, with a black outline and claws longer than bananas, yet sharper than knives. I try to run, but my legs give out. I fall to the ground, scraping my chin on the concrete as I fall, the blood from my chin mixing with the blood of my dead friends. I watch the creature get closer and closer. There's only one last resort. I throw a massive grenade at the creature, as a massive hole blows open in the wall. While the creature is stunned by the blast, I run through the wall as more guards run in to try and detain the massive beast, but just end up like mincemeat just like my friends. I don't stop running. I eventually arrive at one of the rescue helicopters, and hop in, but not before seeing the creature walk out of the building. Its black skin almost absorbs sunlight. It sees the two helicopters, and jumps at an almost unbelievable level, as it lands on the other helicopter, and completely shatters its rotor blades, causing it to crash, and I watch as the crew scream before dying in a fiery explosion. It's gruesome, but I have to keep running, or I'll never be able to kill it. The crew of my helicopter is clearly nervous after seeing the other helicopter get crashed, but the beast ends up having one of its legs pinned by one of the rotor blades, stabbing straight through its leg, giving us enough time to escape. It's incredibly lucky, and the fact I'm the only survivor means I owe something to those who died. I owe them a victory over this insurmountable beast, and stop it from taking anymore lives.
