Episode 1 The girl who escaped into Dreams
"Some people run away from
the world."
Aira closed her eyes.
Not because she was lazy.
Not because she loved sleep.
But because sometimes… sleep was the only place where the noise finally stopped.
In a small village where life moved slowly and quietly, Aira’s house was the only place that never knew peace.
Seven people lived under that roof.
(Her parents.
Her two younger brothers.
Her grandparents.
And Aira.)
But a house full of people doesn't always mean a home full of warmth.
Every evening, the same storm returned.
Shouting.
Arguments.
Broken words thrown across the room like weapons.
Her father’s anger.
Her mother’s sharp voice.
And somewhere in the middle of it all…
Aira.
Most days her mother would glare at her and say the same thing.
"All you do is sleep."
Maybe she was right.
Aira slept whenever she could.
(Morning.
Afternoon.
Evening.)
Because when she slept…
The fighting disappeared.
The voices faded.
And for a few quiet hours, the world stopped hurting.
That day was no different.
Another argument exploded in the living room.
Her father slammed the table.
Her mother shouted back.
The air in the house felt heavy — like breathing inside a storm.
Aira stood there silently, watching the chaos like it was a movie she had already seen a thousand times.
Her chest tightened.
Not with anger.
With exhaustion.
Without saying a word, she turned away and walked to her room.
She closed the door.
The noise outside still echoed through the walls.
But Aira didn’t care anymore.
She lay down on the bed and stared at the ceiling.
Sometimes she wondered…
What if another world existed?
A world without shouting.
Without pain.
Without the feeling of being trapped.
A world where she could finally breathe.
Her eyelids slowly grew heavy.
And as sleep began pulling her deeper into silence, one final thought crossed her mind.
Maybe dreams weren’t just an escape.
Maybe…
They were a doorway.
Aira closed her eyes.
And the world around her slowly disappeared.
"Because sometimes…
dreams feel safer than reality."
