Prologue " Is this for real?" I whispered while staring absentmindedly at the marriage contract that was prepared on the table. I wiped the beads of sweat that were forming on my forehead and lifted my gaze.Heck!Why am I even nervous when he will just be my husband in terms of paper?   Well,I shouldn't be,I coaxed myself a lie.He could still continue doing his personal affairs in life as if I didnt existed at all and I'll do the same thing to him.I will just only marry him because we needed his support,though. I nodded continously while convincing myself. There are only the four of us in the room.The judge,the groom,his speaker and me.All of them were looking at me while I was reading the contract again and again like I did not understand even just a little bit of it at all.I was feeling uncomfortable under their gapes.My hands became frigid while holding the pen,trembling uncontrollably. 'And do you think you're suffering from a big loss here?Your husband is like a god that has descended from Mt.Olympus only for an ugly mortal like you.Look at his perfect features,i***t!Those thick black brows,those tantalizing emerald eyes,his perfectly carved nose and his oh-so-kissable reddish lips.Heck! Could you stop being so picky?!' a side of my brain reacted. 'No!This isn't a joke time,Louie.Examine him again,okay?Yes,he's undeniably drop-dead gorgeous but his aura also screams of arrogance.His face that has been expresionless all the time looks like it has a facial paralysis.Everything around him is just too terrifying!' Fuck.I think I'm going nuts for talking to myself. " Is there another way 'round?" I wanted to ask but I can't for I know that this is the only possible way to ensure for our organization to rise in revolt. " Do you wish to say something,Ms.Montero?" his speaker asked. The prolucotor's eye brow shot high up as if he was really running out of patience for me,being too much time consuming upon signing the contract.I did not answer him but instead gawked again at the contract. "Are you going to sign the contract,Ms.Montero?The boss is waiting." I threw a dagger of stare at the man,feeling annoyed for disturbing my concentration.I heaved a deep sigh and finally signed the contract with an awful expression.I can do this.I know I can do better! In the every droplet of the ink on the paper,my fate was also carved in it.Its my first time to sight my signature with full of fear and antsy. I could handle this marriage like it doesn't matter and treat it as if it's not a big deal but will he allow me to do that,though?    I saw the spokesperson released a sigh of relief when he caught me pinning down the contract. "Ms.Montero,we are not the one's that will benefit from this contract but your organization."    Fuck.I knew,okay?I'm not that dumb.I was just enjoying the last minute of me being single.My sight was only doused from him when the judge spoke. "As the contract was signed with the both of you,I will now pronounce Mr.Iverson Jade McGregor and Ms.Nemesis Louie Montero as man and wife!Congratulations!" the judge announced and reached for my hand to congratulate me. I was about to extend my hand when someone faked a cough.The man that was silent for too long stood up and he was the one who welcomed the arbiter's hand instead of me.Upon rising,he gave the poor judge an algid smile. When I snagged a glimpse of it,I felt that the hair on my nape stood up.Shit.He was like a placard with a written word,"WARNING" on it. After the shaking of hands session,he suddenly darted his eyes on me.I dont know why but I was horrified by the behold of him watching me.He started walking towards me.My mind became a haywire even more when I felt him held my hand. Just as he was ready to pull the ring that was placed on my ring finger,I instantly retracted it. It was the purity ring!Damn it! "Y-you are not allowed to t-take it off!" I almost shouted out of affright.I met his sharp gaze while he continued to capture my hand. "What a-are you doing?I s-said you cannot remove it!" I insisted but he did not even gave me atleast an atom of his attention and was really determined to snatch it away from me. Did his deafness reached the highest level?Wow!Youre not a human,boss but a legend!f**k legend. "You're too young to wear a purity ring," coldly,he stated and looked at me scrutinizingly. "So?Its never your concern." I shivered when I saw a foolish smile plastered on his lips. I was just going to rebel when I was suddenly reminded by the core of this mission.The replacement of their help was me.So,ofcourse it's a compulsory for me to allow him and to follow all the things that he wanted to do.Frustrated,I sighed. There are several assassins that have more spectacular faces than mine.Why does it need to be me? He replaced my ring with the ones with stones more sparkling and probably more precious than the one I've possessed.I would be lying if I told its not glamorous.     He fished out the other ring and gave it to me.It took me seconds before finally understanding what he meant me to do.My lips protruded and brows knitted while I put on the ring.He was kneeling in front of me that's why I was able to do it easily.      While I was doing it,I was docking my head and so I didn't know he was freaking staring at me.I pushed his hand away indicating him to get his presence off away from me but instead,he did the opposite!     He enclosed his face on mine,only inches away.My hands automatically moved to shove him but it looks like he knows I'll do it and he locked my hands on him.His reflexes are unbelievably rapid and blistering!     My eyes widened upon feeling his soft lips on mine.I felt electrocuted because of the seems like electricity that travelled from him to mine.And while I lost my focus,he took that chance to deepen the kiss.I can't help but to moan as I was running out of breath.     I tried to break free,hoping that it will help but to no avail.It just worsened our situation!His one hand clutched my two hands tighter while the other one is firmly propelling my nape.I groaned when he bit my lower lip,forcing me to open my mouth.     This is a rape!I want to scream.     Shame showered me more and I can feel my cheeks starting to burn when I heard the two remaining people cleared their throat but it seems like the man's attention isnt getting distracted anytime soon.He was fully immersed on me. "A man shouldnt forget to kiss his bride",he whispered while we caught our breath.      I weakly slanted my back on the chair yet my glare remained on him that is standing and smirking triumphantly in my front.
