Good Morning

The light of the morning sun wakes me, but I am not ready to meet the day. In fact, I have a splitting headache and zero desire to get out of bed. I pull the blankets up over my head and try to get some more sleep, surely someone else can handle things for a day. I rest my mind and easily fall back into dream land. *Ding!* We are a perfect row of little pink ballerinas performing in unison for our proud parents. My mom said she would be here this time, but I don’t see her.. As I search for her face in the crowd, the bright sunlight beams into the ballet studio through the tall windows.
