It was my idea to ask Drew to invite a big name in the city to have an event at the hotel. Someone who was on Ben’s side, to support him and show our good faith. I was so excited when Drew said he had spoke to the Mayor and he wanted us to host his granddaughter’s eighteenth birthday party. Then suddenly, I was feeling quite nervous. Perhaps I had just bitten off more than I could chew and was totally unprepared to plan and host such an elaborate event.
Turns out, everything went perfectly! The girls and I put on a great age appropriate show that went over with the guests very well. Nothing terrible happened and at the end of the night I was feeling very accomplished. After all the guests had gone, Drew was nice enough to make a toast for me.
