"What exactly are you doing here?" Owen inquired. "I'm just here to watch the fun," Andrew stated flatly. He smiled and looked down at Owen's crotch. "Hey, Owen, I didn't expect a coward like you to be so attractive to women. Emma is your wife, but now another woman is going to jump off the building for you. Your p***s has caused so much trouble." Andrew tried to poke Owen's pants, but Owen dodged it with a cold face. "Good for you, Andrew. You know Dark Phoenix, and I have a good relationship, but you still dare to interfere in our business. Aren't you afraid you won't be able to work in Blood Raven any longer?" People from Hanvasu City could travel to Orlando City by crossing the river, and Dark Phoenix was Hanvasu City's most powerful mafia. The leader was addressed as Lady Phoenix, but her full name was unknown. She was enigmatic, but her husband, David White, was well-known. Throughout the year, he frequently attended various events for his wife. Silver Laurel was not afraid of Andrew because Dark Phoenix was its backer. Silver Laurel's business was not doing well after the new leader took it over five years ago. With Blood Raven's suppression, Silver Laurel was almost completely under Blood Raven's control. However, Blood Raven temporarily stopped fighting Silver Laurel. Silver Laurel took advantage of the situation and struck a deal with Dark Phoenix. Silver Laurel has had a chance to develop since then. After passing up a fantastic opportunity, Blood Raven would find it even more difficult to suppress Silver Laurel. Andrew intended to take over the Blood Raven business and become more powerful within it. However, he had done a lot in the previous few years, with little success. Andrew attempted to contact Dark Phoenix in secret because other members of Blood Raven refused to cooperate with it. Dark Phoenix, after all, had a bad reputation. Partners shared common interests, but Dark Phoenix murdered them for the sake of its own. Cooperating with it was extremely dangerous. However, because Dark Phoenix was wealthy, powerful, and well-connected, many people wanted to do business with it. "It's none of your business whether I can work in Blood Raven or not. After all, my family is in charge of it. What about you? You're just an outsider in Silver Laurel." Andrew's words hit the nail on the head. Owen took over Silver Laurel five years ago, which raised many eyebrows in the outside world. Wilson and Amber were killed, and no one could prove that Wilson had declared him the new leader. Blood Raven even used the event to incite internal strife in Silver Laurel. Emma was the one who stood up and married him despite the opposition of the outside world. Owen married Emma and became the only person who could inherit Silver Laurel. Emma had even used every means possible to get rid of those who caused her problems, including long-term employees. Andrew was even more pleased when he saw Owen's angry expression. "What? Did I say anything wrong?" "You are right," Owen said coldly to Andrew, "I sponge on a woman to get Silver Laurel, but you will never be able to do that." He walked past Andrew and up the stairs, gritting his teeth. "I've never seen anyone as shameless as that jerk," Andrew checked his voice low. I can't believe a man who relies on his wife for power can be so arrogant. He pondered. Owen thought he was extremely unlucky. Adrian caught his eye as soon as he reached the top of the building. "Oh! Mr, Lynch, so nice to meet you. It's not so easy for me to see you," Adrian teased. Owen's lips twitched. "Are you in charge of this specific area?" "Hah! Do you think I want to do that? I get sick whenever I think there's a fly in this area, but I didn't expect something more disgusting. Owen, why do you always do stupid things?" It appeared that the two men were bitter enemies. When Adrian thought of how his sister had almost died because of Owen, he wanted to kill him. Owen's face darkened, and he hated Adrian as well. He should have killed Adrian with ease, but Adrian always escaped. Furthermore, Adrian's sister should have died in a large fire, but she was saved. Owen suspected that someone was assisting Adrian, but he discovered nothing. Adrian had just graduated from the police academy and had no clout at the time. But, after so many years, he had grown powerful, making it difficult for Owen to control him. He had to be careful not to leave any evidence against himself or have a negative social influence. However, Adrian had turned against him in recent years. Everyone assumed that if something bad happened to Adrian, he had to be involved. "I'm sorry you're sick, but you have no power over me." Owen was correct in his assessment. "That's correct, but I have a method of making you suffer." Adrian paused before saying to his men, "Call the press and ask them to come over right now. They must be concerned about Mr. Lynch's business." Owen was so enraged that he clenched his teeth. Adrian planned on making a big deal out of it. Everyone would know what he had done this way. "Just you wait, Adrian!" Owen, on the other hand, was powerless to stop Adrian. He had no choice but to let the woman descend from the roof on her own. "I'll find a way to get rid of you sooner or later. I don't want to see your face, after all." Adrian, on the other hand, ignored Owen's threats and rubbed his ear. "I don't think you'll be able to pull it off." Adrian was a high-ranking cop at the time, making it difficult for Owen to deal with him. Adrian insisted, "Hurry up and solve your problem. Reporters will arrive shortly." "You don't have to tell me what to do." Adrian shook his head. "I'm just being polite." After Owen had gone, the cop next to Adrian inquired, "He appears to want to murder you. Why are you still being so nice to him? We can't make him suffer if he solves this problem before the reporters arrive." Adrian gave him a squint. "Don't you think she's been planning this for a long time?" "I don't believe so." "That's because you're a moron." Adrian didn't say much. After all, if she truly wanted to kill herself, she would not have chosen this time. When the woman was insulted, she should be enraged and jump from the top of the building as soon as possible. She waited for half a day, and just as everyone thought the matter was over, she made a big fuss. The woman's face was filled with excitement when she saw Owen, but she became enraged and even cried when she saw Emma. She pointed at Emma and shouted, "You devil! You scumbag! How could you come here?" Hearing this, Emma frowned. She remained calm in the face of a woman's accusation. "You invited us to come here so you could complain about these issues. Yes, I am the devil and a horrible person. What are you capable of doing to me? You want to die, don't you? Then do it right now. I'll be watching you jump." Emma could sense that something was wrong. She intended to annoy the woman. This situation could not last much longer. Emma had overheard Adrian's words, and the Raven family was involved. They may intend to make a big deal of it. Silver Laurel had grown steadily over the years, so it couldn't be harmed by insignificant events. Owen might show some mercy, but Emma would not do that. She hadn't had an easy time getting what she wanted today, so she wouldn't give anyone the chance to destroy Silver Laurel. "You simply want me to witness your death with my own eyes. So, I'm here. Just jump! Consider how you were stripped naked and how those people regarded you. How do you keep the courage to live? Now is the time to go to hell!" Emma was aggressive and approached the woman in a methodical manner.
