What A Time

292 Words
Flashback I was born in 459 AD in the central capital of Rome. In this century, time wasn’t in the greatest of shape, as history shows the fall of Rome came upon us around 476 AD. But I’m the beginning, my life was simple. I was of noble blood so I had things given to me. Did I like being handed every single thing, no as a matter of fact because I wanted to figure things out on my own. My father however had other plans.  My mother died giving birth to me, however my brother Stephan who was 6 years my senior told me that her presence lit up the ground she walked upon. My father, buried in sorrow of the bottle spent most of his days either at war with a bar owner or fighting an actual war. The few times he was home, and sober he would train my brother and I to become warriors. Yes I know right about now you are thinking why would a father train his daughter in a time where men were anti feminists? Well, why not?  By the time I was 17 years of age I could beat any soldier and even my brother like child’s play. I was fluent in 9 languages and had an incredible throwing arm for swords. Also around this time however suitors came to “whoo” me but my father either out drank them or kicked them to the curb because nothing was good enough for his daughter. But full seriousness the guys at the time were wimps....anywho... Bu the time I was about to turn 18, the real fight began. And the fall of Rome took everything I ever had.
