Athens POV Well, helloooo everyone! I am, as you all know Athens from my happenings with Maya and Joe. Lord knows I love my soul sister. Anyway, people have been asking about my story. So, I figured instead of repeating myself a thousand times in millions of ways I will just write it down and let people read it themselves, without further ado, let me begin! I was born 5,000 years ago. Back then we didn't have last names. Just "of the" or nobility titles. I had an "of the" with my name. I was not born rich nor with an important family. I am a self-made man. I rule the vampires with an iron fist, as well as try to experience what the world has to offer. I am gay. I love me some bad boy or hunky thing willing to go some rounds with me. I had a mate and lost him. I was not strong enough at the time to help him. I have re-thought many times how I could have changed fate. No matter how I did the math I couldn't come up with a way to save him. My price for making a deal with Lilth I guess. The first few hundred years were rough for me. I had no idea what I was or how to control the powers I ended up with. I was turned into a daywalker. That in itself made life for me different. I still had all my magic from my birth as well as the ability to appear and disappear at will where ever I want. So there were times when I would find myself in random places or situations that would always end up getting me in trouble. After several hundred years I managed to finally get it sorted. The magic was easier. The appearance always had me on edge after I popped in front of Genghis Kahn and was chased by like 500 dudes wanting to kill me. I realized then I could not outrun their fast little horses. Yep, now where did my shining personality come from? That was from years and I mean years of screwing up. It got to a point, where I wanted to jump on a stake and call it done. I had a visit from Lilith who gave me a task. Learn fighting in every way possible. So I did. I made it my mission to learn all aspects of fighting from all over the world. You name it I know how to do it. Weapons yes got that too. Horses were my little side dish back to home. I loved them since I was little. My mom was a horse nut like me. So I learned all I could about jousting, archery, and anything else horses were used for. I learned fashion, food, and a bunch of other useless s**t that I could. While doing all that vampires became a big thing. Thousands were turned, for the simple fact, the others didn't want to be alone. I never turned anyone. I cleaned up everyone else's mess. I formed the Council be it was getting way outta hand. I had to thin the herd so to speak during the "black plaque". When in actuality it was a bunch of moron vampires making a massive army to take over the world theme. It was short-lived. The council formed and I headed it. Nobody was older than me, nobody dared go against me. They knew I would kill them in an instant for misbehaving. Other than messing with the way I run the vampire council I am pretty upbeat. I do what I want when I want. If it is flirting with a deadly demon or a sexy wolf, I do it. Play the field. I have no mate and have been alive 5,000 years. No point in keeping it tame. I have lived thousands of human lives. So I am gonna taste the fruit on the tree if you leave it dangling. So there, I am a mixture of many things, coated in sadness and dipped in sexy fun. I am one of a kind and I know it. Now let us get moving to the juicy bit I know all you want to hear. Where do I live? I live in an old stone home that was in my family's line for years. I have a living family but they know nothing of me. I don't disclose my home because that is where I sleep. I sleep about two hours every couple of days. No one knows when, as for food, well blood. I feed from two servants I have that are going on 300 and 400 years. I will have to let these two go eventually. But their innocent sexy is so hard to find these days. I only feed twice a week. My need for blood a lot less in recent years. Which tells me, my ass is getting old. The good thing is my body is still ripped and sexy. That will never change thank the goddess. As for my beautiful intellect and winning personality well that was years and years of deep deep soul searching. Honestly, it was when I went through and wiped out all the vampires turning people and seen the horrors of what humans do during World war one and two. I had to find a bright side. Everything else was dark and depressing. I didn't want to be the brooding soulless monster cliché. So I became Athens! The sexy, flirtatious god among men. Hahaha yep I know no self-control, I am pretty sure I lost it somewhere in the last millennia. Well, you have the major bits to start with. I will start the next chapter where I got my life as a vampire. I will then bounce around through the ages of my many mistakes and how I coped with it all, the powers that I gained, and how I ended up finding my soul sister. I am sure you will see sides of me that are unexpected or dark. Don't forget I am a vampire! I do the dark stuff with relish and a side of pickles! Get ready for a ride on the coattails of a legend!
