Ch.13 Rose

In a flash I was spun around and trapped against the wall. “Don’t say that'' he ordered. The flash of dominance from Jack had a weird effect on me. I wasn’t afraid, the opposite for a fact. My knees grow weak and my breath picks up. Looking in his eyes I saw anger and something like aw. It was a beautiful mix in his blue eyes as water dripped from his sandy blond hair. “Where you see weakness I see strength. You went through all this by yourself. These beautiful designs are badges of honor. I can’t imagine someone so young and beautiful going through something like this.” His eyes traveled over my body. Taking in every inch, every scar, every blemish. “My own little warrior.” His eyes locked with mine as they moved up my body. Slowly, eyes never leaving mine, he moved forward. He was so close that our noses were almost touching. A material brushed my thigh and I figured out that he still had his boxers on. 

“I’m not going to force you, I’m not going to do anything until you are comfortable. All though I want you to know that there are so many things I want to do to you.” A ripple of pleasure coursed through me. Making my lower parts flex. Jack’s body twitched with restraint. His blue eyes blazing with a passionate dominance. Instead of cowording and wanting nothing more than to not be touched by anyone. I found myself desiring his touch. I wanted to feel his skin on mine. 

Somehow I found my voice to ask. “What do you want to do to me?” 

Jack took a sharp breath before a devilish smile spread across his face. “Well, I would start by claiming these luscious lips.” His thumb grazed my bottom lip. “Then I would kiss my way down your body.” His fingertips scored the path that his lips would make. His fingers stopped at the bottom of my belly. “When you are itching for more I will stop. I wouldn’t touch you, wouldn’t kiss you, I would just watch as you wiggle with need.” His breathing had grown shallow and I could tell that he wanted to act on his words. 

“What if I touched myself? Taking care of it all on my own.” I was feeling bold, my voice became sultry, and my hand traveled up my leg. Before it could make it close to my core. Jack snatched my wrist and pinned it to the wall above my head. 

“Don’t. Only me. You are not allowed to please yourself. Unless you have my permission. If you do then you will be punished.” 

I was panting now. “How would you punish me?” This was all so new to me. My brain told me to shrink back, that we couldn’t trust him. Another part of me had me excited over this Alpha male that wanted me all to himself, and not to use me as a punching bag. The excitement and need for this man overpowered the fear my brain was trying to send to my body. 

Jack got a sinister smile that made my sensitive part tighten. “Whatever I decide.” His eyes darkened and I couldn’t tell if between my legs were that wet from the shower or from me. Abruptly Jack spun me around. I had to grab the wall till I got my balance back. “I’m sorry baby girl, it’s time to wash your hair. You have been in here long enough.” Jack explained reaching for the shampoo. 

I had always hated the shower. I felt exposed and weak. Now standing under the spray of the water as Jack massages my scalp. Cleaning all the dirt and gunk out of it. I have never been so relaxed. For once I finally was enjoying my shower. 

All too soon Jack reached around and shut the water off. Jack got out first and held open a towel for me. Sighing, I stepped into the towel. Jack dried himself off and looked at me. “Come on, show me where the spare room is and I’ll help you get dressed.” As much as I didn’t want to leave his side I needed time to myself. Pulse I didn’t trust myself alone with him. Let alone in a room with a bed. 

No one has ever had this effect on me. I have always been the loner but with him I was drawn to. I shook my head “No, that’s okay. I can get myself dressed. Thank you for your help with the bath and the shower.” 

I could tell that he wanted to insist that he come and help me, but he stopped himself. His shoulders slumped forward a bit and he nodded. “Okay I’ll be in the kitchen if you need anything.” I just nodded back at him and exited the bathroom. 

Jack’s POV

As soon as the bathroom door closed I slumped over the counter. The smell of her arousal still lingered in the air of the bathroom. Before, I had control of my wolf. Yes, her shy and daringness had turned me on, but I still had controle. Then I smelled her and my wolf fought harder against me to get her, to mate her. I couldn’t let that happen. She deserved better than her first time being in the shower.

I sighed and quickly dressed. I had to go commando due to my boxers being soaked. As I entered the kitchen everyone was still sitting around waiting. All three of them sat comfortably around the small table. It was getting late and Lulu looked exhausted. I took the seat next to Ryan. “How is she?” Lulu asked as soon as her tiered eyes caught me sitting down. 

“She seems to be doing alright. She’s in the room getting dressed right now.” I told her, my eyes kept traveling to the entrance. I hated being away from her. She is so fragile I fear if I take my eyes off her for a second she will get hurt. 

“Alpha permission to speak freely?” Doc asked from across the table. 

“You may” I granted leaning my elbows on the table top. 

He looked up into my eyes and said. “I love Rose like my own daughter. Her dad was never around so we took her in, in a way. I am glad that the moon goddess has blessed her with a strong mate such as yourself. That being said, if you ever hurt her in any way. I will challenge you in order you avenge for her. The only reason I haven’t gone on a hunting sprie for the people that hurt her is because I know she needs me. I have tried many times and if it weren’t for Rose and Lulu begging me I would have. They remind me that even if I get one there are many more.” His grip on his coffee cup was so strong I thought it was going to break. 

My Alpha side wanted to snap at the old man and remind him who he is speaking with. My human side admired the man. Even tho Rose didn’t come from him. He loves her no different then if she was his own. He would lay down his life in order to show her how a true father protects his children when they are harmed. Calmly I replied “Doc, I would never hurt her in any way. I want to give her the world. I want to show her the life she deserves. One where she will not want for anything. Where she knows she is loved and happy with no worries.” I could see Lulu relax while Doc nodded. In a way it was as if he was giving me his blessing. 

Ryan turned to me with his business face on. “Everything has been taken care of. When you both come to school on monday. She will be with either you or me or both. All teachers have been informed that she is not to go anywhere alone. If she wishes to leave their class room for any reason one of us is to go with her. I didn’t ask for guards due to the way she reacted when they were brought up last time. Here are both of your new schedules.” Ryan passed me two sheets of paper. Grades or credits didn’t matter to Ryan or I, but I wanted Rose to have the best education. I had told Ryan to only change her schedule when absolutely necessary. Looking over my new schedule my coursework was doubled and some classes were much harder, but I didn’t care. 

“Thank you Ryan. I don’t know what would happen if I didn’t have you as my Beta.” I meant it, these past couple of days have been hard enough. If Ryan hadn’t taken over most of these things I would have gone crazy. I was never one to slack off in my duties, but I couldn’t pull my mind, or body, away from Rose. Ryan stepped up without me having to ask. 

“Jack you don’t need to thank me. We have been best friends since before we could walk. I know you would have done the same for me.” Ryan and I nodded in understanding to one another. 

My eyes traveled back to the doorway of the kitchen. ‘Has it been too long? Shouldn’t she have been done getting dressed by now?’ My mind could not stay focused on anything but Rose for long. I was about to get up to go cheek on her. When her small body came into the doorway. Standing there in her bare feet, sweat pants, and baggy long sleeve glory. Her hair was swept up into a messy bun on top of her head. Again I was asking myself ‘how was I blessed with such a gorgeous mate?’ 

“Oh, hunny you forgot your slippers. The floor will be freezing on your bare feet.” Lulu said before Rose could take a step into the kitchen. 

“Lulu I don’t want to go all the way back to the room. I’ll be fine.” Rose whined about to enter the kitchen. Before she could take a step onto the cold floor I held up my hand stopping her. She stared at me curiously as I stood up and walked to her. I picked her up and set her on my hip. Her batteit five foot one inch size fit perfectly on my side. 

Rose wrapped her legs around my waist while her arms circled around my neck. The three at the table started up some small talk. As I went to the fridge and got Rose something to drink. “Baby girl are you hungry?” I asked her. She shook her head, placing it down on my shoulder. I sighed and walked back to the table. Instead of setting her in the chair next to me. I sat down placing her on my lap.
