CHAPTER 64

I was biting my while watching him walking gracefully toward me.

He looks dashing just only on his plain V-neck shirt and faded blue jeans paired with the black sports shoes and as usual, that man bun makes him look ten times hotter, and with those different colors hypnotizing orbs will always get me.

I was standing like a statue as I waited for him to get near me. And just like as usual, he looks so serious as always!

"G-good evening..." I greeted him almost in a whisper.

His thick brows furrowed as he checked on me from head to toe and his intense glare bore on my face as he tilted his head to the side to watch me carefully, his forehead knotted even more, and his thin luscious lips pursed into a grin line.

" Karina..."

He said my name as if I did something wrong... Well? I didn't do anything wrong though, he's just sometimes moody.

I pouted.

" What?" I raised my brows at him which makes his brows even more creased.

He sighed heavily as he glared at me.

" Why the f**k are you here outside?!" He says in a low tone but it sounds like thunder and deadly serious.

I pouted again, why is he grumpy?... Well, I forgot to remember that this is him, the usual.

" You are supposed to be in your room Karina, so why the I'm you're here?" He glared at me as he look around.

No one's here anyway, my dad hasn't arrived yet and my mom was in her room I guess, the housekeepers may be at their quarters so...

" I waited for you and no bad words allowed," I raised my brows at him.

I just earned a glare from him.

" I'm feeling well now, Viel..." I said softly.

He just shook his head as he glance back to his car.

"Wait here," he commanded before he turned his back on me and marched toward his car. I saw him open the back seat and got something In It.

My cheeks reddened as I saw him turn to me while holding a bouquet of sunflowers and this time it has mixed with some bloody red roses. I bit my lower lip as I watched him lick his lower lip and showed the strands of his air falling on his forehead... He looks so damn hot.

" Here," He said with his usual cold voice.

Giving a bouquet of lovely flowers to girls is just so romantic and sweet... It's just that, in my case

The one who's giving me one right now looks serious without a smile on his lips... He's always serious nevertheless the butterflies in me have just gone into chaos because of this...

I was trying to hide my smile but then I can't hide my flushed face.

" Let's go Inside Karina, you shouldn't be in here in the first place... You brat."

He snapped at me.

I just pouted.

" I'm fully recovered now! I'll attend my classes starting Monday!..." I hissed while hugging the flowers he gave to me, but I'm careful not to squeeze them too much, I love their smell so much too.

I can't help but roll my eyes mentally, we were going upstairs when I remembered that he had a lunch date with Bella!...

And until now he's still using that ' brat on me!

"Careful," He whispered in a serious voice as he held my one elbow, I didn't notice that I'm hurried to take the stairs.

I rolled my eyes and he saw it.

" How's your date with below?" I asked. My lips quivered when it sounds so bitter.

We were in front of the room when I asked that nonchalantly as if it was just nothing and it was just a simple question but deep down I'm pissed!!

But when I realized that I accidentally said that out loud, my hands immediately flew to my mouth as the heat started to crawl on my both cheeks.

I heard the deep yet low chuckle from Viel, his thick brows were furrowed but the ghost of a smile on his lips stays.

" What is it? Karina?" He asked with amusement dancing in his eyes.

I narrow my eyes at him, see? His mood swiftly changes!

"What? I didn't say anything, are you hallucinating?" I said sarcastically.

He just smirks.

How I love to always see that.

"It's not a lunch date or any not important thing like what you're thinking right now, we had a meeting together with his brothers." He stated simply.

" Uh-huh," I lazily nodded... I already know that, he had said that to me but I just want to bring it up since I'm upset.

His veiny thick hands were inside his pocket, he was standing in front of me while I was sitting on my bed. When we entered... the room's lavender scent welcomes our nostrils.

Viel just nodded simply.

"Have you eaten? " he asked and crouching a bit to level our eyes.

I shook my head.

" Later," I answered shortly...

" My mom didn't know you were already here,"

Melinda and Simon will visit too as they said but maybe they'll be here later.

" Alright." Viel.

I watched Viel, I was looking up at him ' cause he's just so tall.

"You shouldn't force your body -----"

I bit him off before he could finish it.

" I'm fine and okay now, really, really, really," I smiled surely at him.

Viel crossed his arms and look like he was not yet convinced. But a sudden knock on the door stayed us silent.

I shrugged.

" Come in, Melinda," I said loudly.

But when the door opened all I know was it was Melinda but instead I saw Luka entering my room.

What he's doing here? ... He told me that he won't follow me if I'm in my room and looked at who's here now.

" Why are you here, Luka?"

But Luka was bush locking eyes with this mam In front of me.

They're both serious.

" Viel Bandini," Luka acknowledges but he's not showing any expression.

"Luka," Viel muttered his name too as if they've been known each other for so long.

Oh? They knew each other... I was confused while looking at them and at the same time wondering why Luka was here in my room.

"Long time no see,"

My bodyguard grinned as he look at me and back to Viel...

" What is it, Luka?" I looked at him while frowning as I asked why he was there.

In my peripheral vision, I saw Viel frown as he glance at me.

" What he's doing here, Karina?"

I was surprised by Viel's question that I could answer it right away. Why does it seem like he dislikes his presence here?

"Uhm... Viel, he's my personal Bodyguard." I stated.

" Luka, what are you doing here?" I turned to look at Bodyguard who's until now standing but not fully penetrating my room.

" I'm just checking on you, miss..." Luka says casually then he bowed a bit before he turned his back without looking at Viel...

Now I glance at Viel but he's still frowning when his different colors and hypnotizing eyes met mine.

" He's your...what?" He asked while frowning and he glance at the door where my bodyguard was standing earlier.

" Bodyguard, Viel," I answered shortly while staring at him. He looks so powerful and gorgeous by just his stance and his folded arms on his chest with its protruding muscles and veins.

" Bodyguard? Do you even know him?" He asked in a critical voice.

I shook my head.

" It's not that I want to have one though, but my parents insisted so..." I shrugged at my last words.

Viel was frowning as if something just irritates him. But just after a while, my room was bombarded with the high-pitched voice of Crisha followed by her cousins and Simon.

And the last one who showed up at the door was my mom and Melinda.

" KC! Oh my gosh, how are you feeling?" a ridge asked as she checked my room, well, the last time they visited me I was in a huge spare room we had here but now I moved into my room.

" Feeling better, Cha," I answered.

" Good evening, Beautiful! Oh. Hey there cousin...!" Simon lively greeted me and Viel who's still growing with his arms crossed on his chest.

"Good evening," I greet back with a wide smile.

" Good evening there, young lady..." Mike. The cousin of Crisha greets and this time he's with Sidro which made me surprised. Sandro is not around!

"Good evening there," Sidro greets with a wide smile.

" Hey! You came." I smiled at him.

Sidro nodded at me as he let out a sly smile.

"Karina..."

I was about to say something when I heard the pissed voice of Viel on my side.

" Yes, Viel? " I turned to look at him. I heard how Crisha joyfully cleared his throat so I raised my brows at her. And in the corner, I noticed that mom was busy talking with Melinda, I bet that's about for some desserts again for my visitors.

The three men were just watching us silently...

I even saw Sidro acknowledge Viel's presents as he bowed a little but the latter was not in so good a mood right now.

" Sweetheart?"

I heard my mom's faint voice since she was near the door with Melinda.

" Yes, mom?"

" We'll be just in the kitchen," She informed.

"You guys will gonna have dinner with us tonight.,"

Crisha immediately shifted her body before she looked at me and then she gets something from her back and I saw that it was a notebook, probably her mites that she'll share with me.

" Thanks, Cha." I shorty smiled at her.

She attentively nodded as she glance at my mom who was still talking to Melinda, I thought they had already gone down.

" Madame, can I come with you?" She asked with puppy eyes.

I caught her eyes slightly squinted while looking at her cousins and Simon.

I frowned.

What's their plan?

On the other hand, Viel was still frowning good knows what the reason is.

" Oh, of course... Sure, sure.." My mother agreed happily.

" Come on, boys," Crisha winked at me. My mother and Melinda were already downstairs,

While Simon was confused and at the same time, he was glancing at me and Crisha.

"What? I won't go, I want here." Simon said stubbornly.

Crisha's face grimaced but she chuckles afterward.

" Oh, come on Simon!" Crisha snapped as he looks Viel and back at me and then a ghost of a smile appeared on her.
