CHAPTER 61

I gripped the bedsheet tight as I answered his kisses, my heart was beating rapidly because of his intense hungry kisses as his strong and thick arms wrapped around me as he pulled me close.

This was so appalling that I couldn’t believe if this is really happening right now or if I was just hallucinating again!...

“Ahh…” I let out a moan when he slightly bit my lips and I couldn’t help but grip his tight arms as if my life was depended on it. This is real! Oh f**k… I’m not Imagining ‘cause right now Viel is really devouring my lips like a hungry beast!...

This would be so scandalous for my parents if they will see us in this situation and I don’t even know why we are kissing right now, it just happened just a snap… He was really kissing me.

All I remember was, that we were staring at each other straight in the eye, and …Voila! He’s giving me a torrid kiss.

“Ohh, hmm…”

My both cheeks heated up so bad when I recognized that delirious moan! It was my cringe pleading voice!

He pulled me even closer and deepened the kiss, I was like a slave answering his kisses back, though I’m not a good kisser of course, but the way his luscious lips guide mine as if he’s trying to teach me what to do or to answer his kisses…

It’s half past 1 a.m. and only the sounds of our kisses break the quietness in this room…

I shut my eyes tightly as I answered his kisses in the same intense…

If I’m just dreaming right now, I would love to prolong this, his touch makes me insane. My insanity just flew outside the window by just his simple touch.

“Viel…” I whispered I brushed his disheveled long hair out of my desperation to ask for more, I want… more…

We were breathing at each other’s and the chaotic beating of my heart it’s like it wants to jump out of my chest… I couldn’t really believe that this is happening!

You might be just dreaming KC!...

But the doubt instantly flew away when he pulled me closer and all of the sudden, he sit on the bed, and just in a swift move, he held both sides of my waist and made me sit on his lap… while not cutting our hungry kisses.

“Oh f**k…” He cursed breathlessly as he pulled me closer even more as if that’s the only thing he ever wanted right now.

“Hmm…”

I wrapped my both arms around his neck as I slightly brushed his hair, the knot on it was nowhere to be found.

“Karina…” He desperately whispered as if he was hurting or something. How I love his voice so much, the way he uttered it, it sounds so good… his steely arms were firmly wrapped around my tiny waist that sent me an electrifying shiver in my whole body. I’m damn sweating right now…

I pulled out from the kiss for a while when I’m running out of breath… But it didn’t last for a second when he immediately pulled me back for an unending kiss, it’s not that I want it to end though… I feel like in heaven, this is so amazing, the thought that I’m doing this with him… He just makes me fall hard because of this…

His huge calloused hands were on both of my waists, grazing them up and down and it f*****g makes me crazy, the sensation was too much…Though, he never dares to go beyond, his both hands just stayed on the waist and it didn’t seek up… I could see how he control himself by the rugged breath he was letting out, it was like I’m killing him right now.

He pulled out from the Kiss and he held my waist firmly making me stay still…

I frowned… I want more!

He was catching his breath and so I am but I still want his lips so I crouched to reach for his red luscious lips, But it ended right away, he stopped kissing then he rested his forehead on mine.

“Viel...!” I groaned stubbornly and tried to reach for his lips…but he tilted his head to the side and he let out a hot heartily chuckle.

I pouted and tried the luck of my puppy eyes, but it seems like it didn’t work!... how can he do this to me?! I still want more!...

Only the dimmed light showed me a glimpse of how his eyes glistened and a crook of a smile on his lips…

“I want more…”

‘’Shh… shh… behave, Karina, we should stop…” He said in a husky baritone voice as he wrapped his arms around me tightly.

“…you are killing me,” He added weakly as if It was my fault, then he rested his forehead on my shoulder.

My heart is still beating wildly like I’ve been chased by hundreds of horses, and we’re still catching our breaths too because of that long intense kiss.

I’m still sitting on his lap and I rested my chin on the side of his head… we’ve never been close as physically as this, especially that unexpected intense kissing…

“Viel…”

I whispered as I called his name.

“Hmm?”

He responded drowsily…

“Am I not dreaming?” I asked.

“What?”

“Did we really kiss?”

I heard an amused laugh from hearing… But that waves of laughter were suddenly stopped as if something interrupts that.

He stayed deadly silent and I frowned… what happened…

I slightly looked at him just to see his jaw clenching as his eyes shut tightly… what happened?

“What’s wrong?” I looked at him questioningly… his expression was hard that’s bothering me.

He didn’t answer…

“What’s wrong---” I didn’t finish my question when he cut me off.

“Let’s sleep, Karina…” He answered in a serious tone.

I was staring at him and he was just staring blankly somewhere…but his arms were still hugging me tightly. It loosened up then it tightens again as if he wants to let go of me but he wants me close too.

“Karina,” He said as he move his hands on my waist when I didn’t budge on what he said a while ago.

“What?” I asked while pouting.

He groaned and glared at me.

“Stop pouting…! It’s not helping…”

He snapped at me, a wide smile slowly appeared on my lips… oh damn, he’s affected by that?

“Let’s sleep.” He said with finality.

I nodded while he help me get off of his lap and lay me on the bed…

I yawned. We had a blissful moment… that was scary and the happiest ever happened to me… I’m happy.

“Good night,” I mumbled with my eyes half open as a wrapped my arms and legs around his huge frame… I looked like a damn kid, leeching on him, but I don’t care, I want this and he’s complaining anyway, he even pulled me closer to him.

I heard his baritone chuckle…

“It’s already morning…baby,” He whispered and I was too sleepy to clearly hear that. I fall asleep immediately and in his arms is the most comfortable place I would love to be in… forever.

It happened without us noticing it coming… I’m still doubting if we really did kiss or if that was just a dream.

Our emotions could kill us… and it was the reason for our every move anyway…

I slept and I just found myself awake while staring at this man who was sleeping peacefully beside me. I was staring at him and I tried to touch his face to just confirm if he was real… you can’t blame me if I couldn’t believe that he was right here with me and we did kiss! And that something hardly sinks in… in my pretty little head!

He kissed me! Does he like me too? Are we feeling the same way?...

I was crazy thinking about the reason and possibility. I spend my time thinking about our differences… Like, he’s matured and I doubt if I am… he’s already independent and has his successful career while here I am, still a student, and not to mention that I have to spend another four years at school!

I pouted as I think about how far I am from him… especially my age…!

I absentmindedly reached for the necklace on my neck… I’m taking good care of this… It’s like the plane pendant of it represents him… as Sidro said he’s a licensed pilot too…

He creates aircraft and he loves aircraft which made me love it too even more… He’s just so amazing---

And a good kisser!

My inner voice shouted. I slightly run my fingers on his strong jaw… I love doing this, I could still remember how he controlled himself and did not take advantage of me when I was drowned by the sensation he was sending me.

He’s able to stop and still respect me… if he’s not like the other guys out there… well, it’s also that he knows how my parents trust him so he wouldn’t dare to ruin it.

He’s a good yet uptight man and grumpy and a good kisser--- okay enough with that…

I was busy staring at him until I drifted to sleep.

I woke up when I felt the soft warm rays of the morning sun kissing my skin. I yawned and slightly rub my eyes. I was stretching my arms while still eyes closed when the memory hit me from last night. My eyes immediately widens as I turned to look at my side.

There’s no one!... only the crumpled blanket… there’s no trace of Viel.

Was I’m just dreaming last night? But I’m sure he was here until I close my eyes. I looked around worried.

I was interrupted when the door opened without knocking on it.

I frowned as I watch Melinda, she was moving so carefully like she was trying not to make sounds, she didn’t even notice me yet since she was busy looking at the tray of food that she was carrying as if trying to check if he forget something or what…

I was silently sitting on my bed when she saw me… she was a bit surprised.

“Oh my god!... Good morning young lady, I didn’t knock…Uhm, I thought you were still asleep,” She explained.

I just nodded. My mind wasn’t in here anyway… I was thinking about last night, that was unbelievable!... I could feel how my face slowly turned into a red-like tomato.

“I went here earlier but you’re still asleep young lady,”

I frowned when I heard her say that, I looked at the wall clock and slightly surprised when I saw It’s it was almost ten in the morning!

Melinda was busy arranging my breakfast when I was about to ask her, b but she spoke before I could say a thing.

“Madame, went here to check you 8 in the morning, young lady. She told me not to disturb you, and just bring your breakfast here at this time…” She said.

I frowned… she went here? But… how about Viel? Did she see him sleeping beside me… where’s he anyway?

“Melinda,”

“Yes, young lady?” She asked politely.

“Where’s Viel?” I asked casually. Well, even though I badly want to see him but right now I wish I won’t see him… I don’t know how to react and move if he’s around after what just happened last night! It would be so hard for me…

“Oh, he left early, young lady, after a short conversation with your dad,” She answered.

He left early huh?... I felt a bit… disappointed and it was relieving at the same time.

That was real then…

“Where are they?” I asked.

Melinda knew that I was referring to my parents.

“Your dad was on an important meeting young lady, that’s what I overheard him when I heard talking with madame.” She stated.

I looked at my breakfast, Bed tray of food was in front of me… a pancake and of course a black coffee.

“Madame has a meeting too with her clients, she went out early after she talked to Dr. Cesar,”

Melinda stood up on my side as if she was waiting for me to ask anything I’ll be needed.

I began to eat my breakfast when Melinda speak again.

“I heard Dr. Cesar that maybe next week, you can move in your room young lady,”

I nodded, that’s good then, I missed my room and I think I’m fully recovered now, and also my wounds have now healed.

I looked around the room, and I remembered the kiss we share last night… it happened here, so this room is one of the places that have an amazing… ah, memory.

We both looked at the door when we heard a knock. Melinda opened the door and I saw the maid that I saw yesterday when she helped Melinda bring the food here.

She slowly makes her way in and I notice that bouquet of fresh sunflowers…again.

“Good morning, young lady,” She greeted as she slightly bowed her head. I was just staring at the flowers in her hold… when she noticed that, she slowly took a step in my direction.

“Ah, someone delivered this here, young lady, for you.” She said.

She handed it to me but she makes sure not to mess up with my breakfast. The lovely sunflowers were even highlighted as the sun’s rays kissed them.

It was so lovely and I don’t have to ask from whom… because I already know. A smile crept into my lips as my face flushed… I saw a piece of note that was also written on yellow paper.

“Good morning, sleepy head.

I’ll not be around tonight, you rest.

That was written on the piece of note and my smile slowly faded… he will not going to be here today…

I felt down but somehow, it’s fine, I think it would be good not to see him for a day or two because I couldn’t really get over what had happened last night, I don’t want to act stupidly if he’s around anyway, I should think about that…

“What’s your name?” I asked the maid before she excuse herself out of this room.

“I’m Corie, young lady,” She politely answered.

I nodded before I dismissed her.

I looked at the flowers… they look so beautiful.

“Melinda.”

“Yes, young lady?” She immediately responded. I then looked at her as I extended my hands with the flowers.

I handed it to her and she accepted it, just like the other flowers, she’ll be going to put it in the vase and arrange it.

After my breakfast, Melinda fix the tray of food as she went downstairs.

I lazily lie on my bed, feels so exhausted, I tried to close my eyes and just to opened them, I’m not sleepy anymore, I just had my breakfast and just lying here after eating isn’t healthy but I don’t really want to move…

It was 10 in the morning when Doctor Cesar checked me… he also removed the IV injection in me since I’ll not need it anymore, he checked my wounds, he made sure that I’m going to be fully okay one of these days, I just have to take enough rest so my body would regain all its strength back. Then after that, he left after reminding me to constantly take my medicines, and to rest…

I was left in the room with Melinda…

I reached for my phone on the near table, and I saw new messages coming from Simon and Crisha…

Simon:

Good morning beautiful, see you later tonight, take a rest.

Me:

Mornin’, I will.

I opened the messages from Crisha…

Crisha:

KC! Good morning, I already prepared all my notes and you can have them today.

Me:

Thanks, Cha.

I sighed as I put my phone down.

Okay… what I’m gonna do today this is so boring…

I tried to stand up as I come down from the bed, I can fully manage myself though.

I stride toward the glass wall, only the thick curtain shielding the bright light of the sun.

It’s a pleasant day… The memories from last night are as bright as the light outside. Damn that frosty man! He’s driving me insane! The kiss was like venom inflicted on my head that I couldn’t get rid out of my head!
