''Where on earth are you, KC!?" Crisha's voice thundered on the other line. It was her mother's birthday and of course, she invited me and I've been already to their mansion many times. "On my way," I answered. I was in the backseat, I saw my driver, Shawn. He glances at me in the rare view mirror and back to the road. Crisha says that she's waiting on the pool area, that's located at the side of their mansion. It's not a pool party, there is actually no other guests then their relatives and me. Her mother decided it to be just simple. I already asked permission from my dad and my mom though, I even dragged Crisha to help me convince them to allow me overnight at Crisha's home. Luckily, they let me, but just like always, they reminded me to get home in time and I'm not allowed to go anywhere else than attending the birthday party. Better than nothing right?.. Crisha is like a sister to me but my parents still don't tolerate my habits of strolling around even I'm with Crisha. But why does he easily allow me to go somewhere with Viel? I noticed that my father was strict but he loosens up if it'll be Viel I'm with, why is that? Does he trust him that much? perhaps. I remembered what had just happened yesterday, he took me home but I noticed something strange from him. We were on the road when I spotted a few red dots on his neck and some on his hairy forearms too. It's too visible 'cause he was maneuvering the steering wheel. I was worried and asked him, but he just tells me to shut up using his dominating voice and he says it was just simply made by mosquitoes, then after he dropped me off yesterday, he hurriedly drove his car out of our premises which leave wondering about his sudden action. I was sad when he didn't fetch me today, I waited until 9 am in my room, hoping Melinda would knock on my door to say that Viel was waiting for me in the living room but it didn't come. I forgot to get his number too, so I could ask him, for sure my dad has his number. I couldn't feel alive today, 'cause I didn't have a glimpse of that frosty man. But thinking that he was sweet yesterday when he ate the brownies I made for him, I can't erase my smile every time I remember that. I felt like he cares for me at that time. He looks soft too which only happens once I get back to my senses when I heard Shawn's voice saying that we were already in front of Jarera's mansion. ''Have a good night young lady," He said before he drive the car away. I confidently walk with my head held high sporting the black sling silky dress that has both slit on the side, and strappy red sandals. I walk through the gate and the three guards there greeted me, they already know me that's why. The mansion was huge too just like ours the only difference is that we have a long pathway before you could reach our mansion unlike here. I called Crisha on the phone and she immediately answered it, " I'm here," I implied, I was about to say something when she already cut the call without saying anything. I groaned, that b***h. " Here KC!" I heard a high-pitched voice from the distance it was no other than the daughter of the celebrant. Crisha. She's striding her way in my direction floating her one piece, that was covered by a see-through. " You're hella hot, Young lady,'' she teased me as she scanned me from head to toe. " Oh, shut it Crisha, where's your Mom?" I asked as we started walking towards the main door of their mansion. "She's inside, but wait..." she stopped walking and went in front of me as she narrowed her eyes on me with her crossed arms. " What make's you busy these days, huh?" She asked suspiciously. I rolled my eyes at her showing her my innocent face and telling her that I don't know what she was talking about. " Whatever you say, come on." I leer and walk past to her as if I owned this whole damn place. Housemaids greeted us when we strode our way to the entrance of their mansion. "Oh!, wait! wait!" Crisha called out for me as she grabs my arms.. we were entering the spacious entrance and she made me stop to face her. I could see her eyes glistening with an evil smirk on her lips. I know that smirk very well, I think she has a newly formed silly I deas again. I arched my eyebrow at her. "What?!" I snap when her naughty grin creeps me out. " My cousins are here!" She announced as she beamed at me. Oh, I know what she thinking. She already told me about her three cousins, they're all guys but they are ahead of us, they're already in their twenties. "So?" I replied nonchalantly. " Hey, You only saw them in the pictures right? They're way hotter in person!.. I let you pick one." She teased me and pull the tip of my hair which made me glare at her. What? Pick one? She's telling me to pick one as if she's just selling fresh fruit from her basket. " Stop that Crisha," I warned her when she tried to pull me somewhere, and I think she was trying to guide me to where her cousins are. I flinched when she poked the side of my belly and let out an evil laugh. "You might change your mind." Then she winked at me. I'm afraid not, I don't think there's someone who could beat the way how Viel makes me feel... I bit my lower lip in annoyance, what did he do to me?! After that, Crisha guide me to the wooden door, where her families are, I guess. "Hey everyone!" Crisha's voice thundered right after she opened the door where her family and relatives having fun with this simple celebration. Crisha put her arms around my shoulder and we make penetrated the spacious room. Everyone stopped for a moment and stared at us or me? I saw her parents smiling at me while her relatives were staring at me trying to know who I am, I felt uneasy when I found Crisha's cousins staring at me, most of them are guys, well they're good-looking too. " By the way, she's Karina Cassidy Tyson, KC for short, my best friend!" Crisha happily introduced me to her cousins, uncles, and aunts. Everyone says hi, including her cousins, they keep on staring which makes me feel a bit uneasy. I greeted her Mother and gave the gifts that mom prepared, it was a channel bag, well, I didn't both it, Mom did. She noticed that I'm going to a birthday party without birthday gifts for the celebrant, so that's why. I felt warmed and welcomed by their smiles, it was like I'm part of their family. It just feels great. Making someone like me feel like I'm included makes them worth my smile.
