CHAPTER 65

After twinklings of time of bickering with Crisha and Simon, Crisha successfully drags Simon out of the room together with her cousins.

"I'll be right back beautiful...!" Simon winks at me as he faces Crisha with a crumpled annoying facade.

I chuckle and nodded.

But when the door went closed and I was left with this frosty grumpy man here, I can't help but pout.

" H-how about you? don't you want to go with them?" I asked as I smiled surely at him but the frown on his face didn't disappear.

" No." He answered languidly while his thick brows knotted.

I shifted in my seat when I saw him coming closer.

I stood up...

He frowns as he watches me waiting for him.

" Can I Borrow your phone?" I asked as I rubbed the tip of my nose.

It seems like he's surprised a bit, but then again, he's still frowning.

" What?" His lips pursed as he licks his lower lip.

Damn... Is he trying to seduce me?! But...oh, I remembered, he's always looking seductive in any way though.

" Where's your phone?" I repeated and I walked back to sit on my bed, it's just that...I think my knees wobble watching him so close and looking up at him like a helpless inferior.

I looked at him as I crossed my legs and extended my hands at him waiting for his phone.

" What's with my phone?" He asked.

"Just lend me your phone, Viel... Just minutes please..?" I sweetly said.

His thick brows protruded and his lips parted and after a moment he sighs in defeat.

"Tss..." He pursed his lips at me while I'm just smiling cutely at him.

"Here." He said after he fished his phone in his pocket.

" Thanks!"

I wildly grinned as I reached for his phone.

" Why the hell do you look so happy huh..? What are you gonna do with my phone Karina?"

He says as he walks closer and sat beside me. I stiffened for a moment when I got to smell his so addictive scents and by just his large frame sitting next to me, I look like a kitten beside him.

Well, I have this thing with tall men and of course well-toned bodies, just exactly like him it's just that, they looked so dominant and can protect you and make you feel secure... Well, it's just my perception of them though...

I roll my eyes trying not to feel affected.

Pretentious queen when it comes to his effect on me trying to look chill and calm even though deep down the system of my body became abnormal.

My both cheeks heated up...

Damm! I could feel his hot breath touching my ears, he was crouching as he peek at his phone watching me what I'm doing...

" Just a minute!" I hissed and move a little bit away from him so he couldn't see what I'm doing.

"What the? Fine."

His eyes... His pair of seductive eyes suspiciously looked at me and he crossed thick arms on his chest as he sit up straight.

" Hmm..." I hmmed and a ghost of a smile appeared on my lips.

He acts so casually as if we didn't kiss!

Does it even matter to him? Why he didn't open up about that anyway?

I shrugged as I scrolled on this phone I was holding while the owner is staring right at me with his thick brows knotted. Oh... Looks so damn hot and adorable.

I was focused on his phone and I pressed the gallery Icon, right after I opened it, the picture of both of us was the previous pic in there, there was no new... And... Of course, Viel is a man who looks like he's not fond of taking a pic of himself and such things that won't interest him.

I can't help but restrain myself from smiling when I looked at our pic together back in his car when he was asleep and I was smiling widely beside him.

He didn't delete it! I know he already saw these pictures of us... I know he won't delete this though.

" So?... You're busy with that huh?"

His baritone deep voice suddenly echoed beside me even though he says that in a very low tone and husky which gives me chills.

I was stunned 'cause I didn't notice that he was already looking at his phone that was in my hand, he was looking at our pictures together.

"Hey!..."

I snapped at him as I move the phone near me so he won't see it.

"Tss, you don't have to hide that from me, Karina," he said languidly as he tilted his head to the side to look at me.

"...I have seen that so many times," he added. When I looked at him I just found that he was already staring at me.

"R-really?" I stammered as I looked at him

This man was obvious that he was making my heart go crazy.

"Yeah? That's in my phone so why not?" He answered casually.

I smiled widely as the new idea pops into my mind.

"Hmmm, so..." I paused I looked at him cutesy while he was frowning at me.

He raised his thick brows in a manly way impatiently waiting for what I'll say.

I grinned as I looked at the closed door... a good thing that they were busy in the kitchen so that's why I have my time to talk with him freely.

Wallpaper?" I asked cutely as I wiggled my brows at him.

"...And, also... your locks screen?" I added.

Maybe I looked childish in front of him right now because he was looking at me in disbelief ... as if he didn't expect that from me.

Sudden deep chuckles filled my lips...

"Karina... what's got into your mind... hmm?"

He asked me while the side of his lips rose a bit.

I pouted.

"Wallpaper?... lock screen?" He repeated as his eyes narrowed maybe he was thinking about what he'll gonna do with that s**t and of course, he seems like I just stated something he doesn'treally cares or pays attention to...

"...And, another thing, Karina."

His eyes darted at me and he spoke.

"Friends don't kiss, Karina."

He stated sensually.

I was staring at him with my lips parted... and now, he stated it, I thought he forgot what had just happened but ... seeing his piercing gaze at me as he says that.

"W-we're not f-friends then?" I stammered and even though I'm just sitting I felt like my knees just melted and that I couldn't have the strength to stand up.

He looked at my room's door it was closed, maybe he was waiting for them to come back?

Then slowly, he shook his head.

My eyes widen.

I was about to say something when the phone that I was holding vibrated.

It let out a short beep as a new message came.

Oh... I forgot that im still holding his phone.

"New message," I mumbled but he just shrugged at me like he was not planning to check it.

But because I was always curious, curious about everything about him...

I check it and he didn't complain though, he didn't say anything for he was busy staring at my face closely.

It's a bit uneasy... I don't know what he's thinking while he's staring at me with his forehead creased.

I wonder why... do I look like a kid to him? Maybe?...

But I'm sure that I looked more mature than my age.

I shrugged as I opened that new message in the inbox.

It was an unregistered number so I was curious to open it. I notice that it was not the only unregistered number that had sent him messages. There are lots of them!

I just want to tell you that, Kiro and Gabby won't be able to make it to our next meeting but I'm free anytime we can proceed to our next discussion without them, I'll wait for your call

I frowned. Bella M. Of course needless to guess.

"It's Bella," I mumbled lazily as I handed him his phone back.

He simply put his phone on his side as if he didn't hear anything.

I raised my brows at him.

" What? Aren't you going to check it?" I mumbled using my casual voice.

"Hmm..."

He just pursed his lips as he grab his phone and opened it.

I frowned and look away, of course, I dislike that girl.

"Here..." I sluggish looked at him but I was confused as I looked at his phone... he was giving it to me...!

My eyes widen as he moves his hand on the screen and just a second after, he's showing me our picture together.

" Here." He repeated.

"W-what am I gonna do with that?"

"I thought you want that for wallpaper and lock screen?" He simply said.

"W-what?....a-are you serious..?" I asked in disbelief.

"Tss... Do it, Karina."

He said almost in a whisper as he tilted his head up while his eyes were tightly shot up.

I was looking at him in awe, what he just said didn't fully sink in yet, I was surprised when he just let me do changes to his own phone and looking at him right now in a side view, his pointed nose emphasize even more and his thin luscious lips looks so tempting...well, I've tasted that once and it's something I would love to have a taste again and again.
