CHAPTER 67

The dinner went well and now I'm walking with Crisha to her car 'cause she's leaving with her cousins including Sidro, the three of them only used her car so they're going back home together.

She also left her notes so I could cope with those lessons I missed at school.

"Take care Cha," I kissed her cheek then I glance at Mike and Sidro who were waiting on the hood of their car.

"Thanks to both of you, take care," I said with a smile they just nodded, a Mike showed a wide smile while Sidro simply nodded as he slightly bowed his head before they get inside the car and drove the car away.

"How 'bout you, Simon?" Viel suddenly asked with a serious tone.

I smiled at Simon as he shifted his weight at me.

" Ah...well, I think I have to go too," He lightly rubbed his neck as his lips pursed.

" How 'bout you cuz?..." Simon throws the question back at him as he raised his brows.

"I'll leave when I want to." He answered coldly.

"Ohh...alright then."

My parents were now in their room and only the three of us were there outside.

Simon smiled at me, and even if it was a bit shady l, I could see that his ears reddened.

" Ah...I better go now, but...won't you mind if I'll be here again tomorrow?" He slowly said yet in a lively voice.

"Yeah, of course," I responded.

He smiled widely as he nodded repeatedly at me as if he just love what he heard.

"What are you gonna do here then?" Viel casually asks in a deep baritone voice.

"Cousin, I just want to see her," Simon says like it's pretty normal to say that.

Well, I felt unease for a moment. While Viel's forehead creased even more as his masculine arms folded on his chest.

"That's fine with you, KC... Right?" Simon.

" Yeah, of course," I shrugged.

But with unknown reason, Viel hissed as his sharp gaze darted on the ground.

" So... I gotto go, beautiful." Simon winks at me before he slightly tapped the shoulder of Viel who's stiff and serious as always.

Simon stride towards his white raptor and when he get into his car, he wave at us before he drive his car away.

" Hmm... How about you Mr. Aero E....?"

I playfully singled my brows as I looked at him who's now frowning at me.

He raised his thick brows at me before he turns his back and he started to walk toward the entrance of our mansion.

My face grimaced.

What the?...

It's half passed 11 in the evening but it seems like he's not planning to leave yet.

" Hey...! You just don't leave me like that!" I hissed as I followed behind his back. This frosty! He really has the guts to ignore me huh?!

I was ranting like a kid while I was tailing him and when we entered our mansion at the same time my dad was descending on the stairs.

Maybe he'll go to his office.

When my dad notice us, he looked at Viel.

"Viel..." My dad.

He looked at me before he gave all his attention to Viel.

" It's already late but... Are you going home though? You can stay here for the night and if you don't mind let's have some wine..." My dad said but his voice was like he's dealing with a clients because he sounds so serious.

" I'm good with that, Sir." Viel responded as he nodded his head without glancing at me.

"Alright." My dad, then he looked at me and I already know what he'll say.

" Go to your room now, Cassidy." My dad commanding voice made me pursed my lips.

" Okay..." I sluggish answered.

But I didn't move instead I looked at Viel who's imposing his strict facade while his both hands were in his pocket.

He looks so cool in that posture.

"Good night, dad." I mumbled but I was looking at Viel.

He raised his thick brows at me.

"Good night, you go upstairs now, Cassidy." My dad repeated.

I didn't move on where I'm standing instead I let out a cute smile while starting at Viel.

"Good night, Viel..." I mumbled.

I was like a kid looking up at him smiling sweetly yet he's just serious as his gaze rested on mine. I'm not even bothered even if my dad was was just here behind me.

After a moment of waiting I just earned a single lazy nod at him.

I pouted.

"Cassidy." My dad warned.

" Dad...wait, I'm waiting for Viel's response." I pouted while still looking up at Viel, his thick brows almost met as if I'm so difficult girl to deal with and I'm giving him a hard time right now.

"My goodness, Cassy. Stop that childish act!..."

My dad fired me.

But I didn't even flinch.

I was just strong at Viel like he would disappear any moment if ever I would blink.

"Viel... I'm sorry for my daughter's stubbornness..." My dad says as he learned at me.

" She's sometimes like that," he added.

I was glued here... I myself hardly understand what the hell is wrong with me but anyway, nevermind.

A deep chuckles from Viel makes me narrowed my eyes at him.

He sighed as he look at my dad while chuckling then his deep mysterious eyes bore at me.

" Alright," he started as he lick his lower lips trying to prevent the ghost of smile trying to crept on it.

He sighed and his lips formed into a smile.

" Good night, Karina" He whispered

While staring at me straight on the eye.

"...Sleep well," he added but his forehead creased as if he's not really used saying those words.

As if on cue, the wide sweet smile spread on my lips, goodness... I think I'm losing my mind!

He's drivinge nuts!

"Cassidy, ---" my dad was about to say scold me again but I immediately thought turned to him with the wide smile plastered on my lips.

"Okay dad!" I happily chanted as I run up the staircase. He just throw me a serious gaze as he called Melinda.

I was happily taking the stairs when I heard Viel's voice thundered.

"KARINA!" His voice echoed as he looked up at me with blazing eyes.

"Careful!" He snapped.

I know I have said this for a hundred times now, but again... I'll say this again.. He looks so damn hot and even more dangerously handsome if he's mad.

I just smiled at him and proceed to my room.

"Hmm,"

I was smiling like an i***t while hugging my soft pillow tightly.

I saw Crisha's binder container her notes but I'm too late to even open that... Maybe I'll by tomorrow.

I just want to reply sweet moments... Well, actually I'm not really that sure if that's a sweet moment but for me it is.

I smelled my pillow while my eyes tightly shot up.

I relaxes my breath while random things rushing down my mind.

It has been said that, youngster just have to enjoy the feelings but not to dweel on it, because after all it wouldn't lasts long.

Everything's vary and replace by new and another new, it a cycle that would happen over and over again.

That's the fact. We just have to enjoy but never dwell on that feelings he have once felt forever.

And I know that too well.

And as of now, I'm just enjoying the feelings I'm still young anyway,

I was in a deep thought thinking about possible things until I drifted to sleep.

I had a peaceful sleep and maybe because I'm happy... But when I checked the time I was a bit surprised when I saw that it's still 2 a.m.

It's dawn.

I get up when I feel like I need a glass of water and fortunately, my small fridge here in my room was empty.

I decided to go to the kitchen.

I bet everybody were asleep by now so I went down as I walked straight to the kitchen.

I opened the fridge and get a glass of water.

I was obvious that someone was on the dim corner of the kitchen and I wouldn't know that if I didn't heard his deep baritone voice.

" Do you usually wake up at this hours, Karina?"

I almost drop the glass of water out of shock.

And there I saw him resting his both discipline arms on the counter and... I gulp as I looked at him.

He's topless!...
