CHAPTER 104

1062 Words
It has been one week had passed since Viel left to go back to Seattle, Seattle isn’t the place that’s too far for me though, It’s actually so close and I can be there if I want to, what’s the use of being the daughter of the CEO who owns an Aviation Company. Well… it’s just that I doubt if my dad would ever allow me to. It’s been a week that I haven’t seen him ‘cause he was dealing with his work at the firm but he never fails to call me every single night. “Hello! Earth to KC! Why the hell are you spacing out?!” Crisha snapped in front of me and she even lightly tapped my hands that were on the table. We’re at the library and if you think we came here to study… well… you’re wrong, we just actually came here ‘cause Crisha wants to. “I’m so f*****g sleepy, KC” She ranted but I just rolled my eyes at her. “You shut up, cha. Who told you to spend your whole night at the party anyway,” I nonchalantly said. Just like what I’ve said… she went on a business errand with her parents and of course, there’s always a party and I didn’t know that she spent all her time on it. “I want---” Crisha was about to request something again but I cut her off immediately. “Go and buy, Cha” I languidly said without looking at her since I’m busy with my phone, I just checked if Viel did a message but I think he was still busy, this actually isn’t the usual time that he would send me a message. “KC! You’re so harsh!” Cha pouted while glaring at me, I just roll eyeballs at her, and then I put all back my attention on my phone once again. I closed my eyes as I bit the lower of my lips. Yesterday he sent a flower for me… a sunflower… just like when I got into an accident before. There are cute notes attached to the bouquet and what’s written on them always makes me smile and makes my cheeks heat up. “KC! Oh my goodness! What’s wrong with you?” Cha exclaimed when she noticed that I didn’t pay attention to all of her rants. “What?” I asked and raised my brows at her. We’re on the corner far from others who came here for a purpose unlike us. “Minimize your voice, Cha,” I said as I rubbed the tip of my nose. She pouted and looked around then she leaned closer toward me, I frowned as I waited for her to say what she wanted to say. “I want a coffee” She whispered and again pouted like a kid. “Stop pouting cha, you look like a duck,” I said boldly. “Hey! I’m too beautiful to be a duck!” She retorted and sways her hair. I sighed. “Whatever you say , just shut up or just go and buy your coffee, I’ll wait for you here,” I said in a very calm voice. We spent the whole duration of the day in the Library, “How’re your Crushes goin’…” I grinned as I looked at Crisha who was glaring at me right now. I raised my voice at her. “Oh? Why are you looking at me like that?” I said and flipped my hair to the side. Well, our surrounding was so quiet, obviously, we were in the library and almost all the student who are here right now we’re busy reading except the both of us… what actually we doing is eating and talking about random things. 3 in the afternoon we decided to leave the library… it’s time to go home, Luka was probably waiting in the car by now. “Sleepover!” Crisha beamed at me and a wide smile spread widely on her lips. I laugh with her, I really miss our night outs and we didn’t at it for a quiet while now so maybe we could continue it from now on. I shook my head at that thought. “Yeah,” I simply answered because she was not stopping bagging me to say yes. Crisha giggled and clasp both hands. ‘’Great! Come on, my driver is waiting…” Crisha said in glee… she wrapped her arms in mine as we’re making our way out of this university. “Hey, wait…” I stopped so she stopped and looked at me while raising her brows… she was already looking at me suspiciously. “What? Oh, you just don’t tell me that you’ve changed your mind!” She snapped at me. “Of course not, see my bodyguard?” I said and pointed in the direction where Luka’s waiting. Though he was inside the car, of course, I know that it was his car… and yes he was using his sports car to fetch me I don’t even know why the hell he’s a bodyguard if he can afford luxury too, this man has a weird taste for life. Crisha glanced at where Luka’s car was parked and pursed her lips. “Okay say to him that you’re going with me for a sleepover.” She wiggled her brows. I shrugged and turned my back to her, well… I’ll just tell Luka that I won’t be at home tonight, I have bonded with Crisha. The car immediately opened when I’m coming closer and I saw Luka get out of the car. “Young lady,” He greeted with his usual firm voice. “I’ll come to Trisha’s house, I’m going to spend my night there, don’t worry I’ll tell my dad,” I said in a casual tone. “You can leave now, I’ll be fine with Crisha,” I said as I glanced at the side where Crisha was waiting. Luka’s brows slightly crinkled as if he was not convinced, “----but young lady, I should be the one who’ll drive you to her house,” He said. I shook my head. “No, I can manage okay? You don’t have to drive me or follow ‘cause I’ll be just with Crisha.” I said with finality.
