Time passed by just like a snap and as swift as the wind.
My days were good---oh, crap...! that's not when Luka's around. I hated the idea when my dad decided to hire a bodyguard for me just because of what had happened to me before,
His always the reason every time I ranted about how I hate to have someone who kept on following me all around and all the way. That's too annoying.
It's Sunday today and tomorrow I'll be going to attend the classes that I've missed for months, my papers were already fixed and of course, it's always like that, I don't have to do anything.
I had checked by Dr. Cesar yesterday, and he says that I'm fully fine and I just have to take my vitamins and such...
"Luka!... I'll be just here in the garden, can you please stop following me!?"
I granted.
It's 10 in the morning, so after breakfast, I decided to go here bringing again my DSLR.
Since boredom is killing me and also I haven't seen Viel for weeks now, after that night and when the morning came I looked for him and I just found out that he flew back to Seattle early than I'd expected... He didn't leave any message since I heard from my dad that it was an emergency at work, and I didn't get a reply when I texted him... But before he left, he left a bouquet of sunflowers for me.
And now, I haven't seen him for weeks, I couldn't disturb my dad 'cause I could see that he was deadly serious dealing with something as well as my mom.
I pursed my lips and glared at Luka one more time.
My mom wasn't here, and my dad wasn't here too, they were busy and I was just here prowling on our premises and don't know what to do. But then again, I think this is way better than attending such annoying parties just like before,
Before I get into an accident. Though the accident I get into never spread anyway, few heard about it but it does down immediately with just one order from my parents.
"Miss, this is my job---"
I immediately cut Luka off while throwing him a gaze annoyingly.
" I know that, okay?!" I fired back as I rested my hands on my waist and lifted an eyebrow at him.
Luka, as I observe has this mixed aura, he sometimes looks arrogant, and sometimes he's being sarcastic. And right now, I was so annoyed by his presence but he just doesn't care, he'll just stare at me without saying anything and without following whatever I'll say, exactly just like now.
"Then, I'll just stay here..." He answered nonchalantly. My face grimaced at his chill answer but he didn't even show me any expression, just like the usual bodyguard.
My intense glare bore at him, if I could just kick him out of it, I will. But as he said, I can't fire him, only if my dad will say so.
And here I am always in a very unpleasant mood whenever his around... As I said, I hated being watched.
I roll my eyes at him before I turned my back,
I just busied myself with taking pictures of everything in my surrounding, I love it though, this is one of the things I love doing anyway,
I angled my camera in the sky and took a photo of it, the sky is just something so amazing and I do hope that somewhere out there, some people love watching it too just as I do.
When it comes to celestial bodies, you have my all ears.
"Luka,"
I called Luka who was standing a meter away from me, watching my every move.
" Yes, miss?"
He answered in a monotonous voice.
I did not look at him 'cause I was focused on viewing the photos I'd captured.
I pursed my lips, all the pictures were amazing and after that, I put down my camera with a satisfying face plastered.
" Call Melinda, I told her to bring me juice here..." I state while frowning.
I ordered her to bring me something to eat and it irritates me why the hell is it taking too long to be here?
"Alright, miss," Luka replied as he turned his back on me.
Until now, I still wonder why my dad and my mom treated him like he was not an employee or a bodyguard. They just treat him like a guest and that's confusing well, perhaps he had been a bodyguard before to someone close to my parents or perhaps, to a close friend?
I shrugged, I don't care though.
I was absentmindedly fishing my phone in my pocket then I stopped for a moment.
" Oh, crap... I left it in my room." I mumbled to myself, I want to text Viel, though, I bet he's busy and I didn't even get a reply from him and Also when Viel met Luka and knew that he was my bodyguard...He was frowning that time as if he doesn't want that too or am I just hallucinating here?
" Young lady, "
I was back in my senses when I heard the faint voice of Melinda on the other side and so with my bodyguard Luka who how's back to where he's standing a while ago.
My forehead is dressed at Melinda and I saw how she gets a bit uneasy with that. Well, she should 'cause it's irritating to make me wait.
She was about to open her mouth but I immediately lift my hand stopping her, I know what she'll gonna say, she will just explain a hella longer reason and I'm not really in a good mood to add noise to my head.
All I just want is a peaceful morning, it's just that, she and Luka will always be around.
Melinda was standing a few steps away from me like she was waiting for a new command just like Luka on the other side.
I don't really understand why the hell is Luka watching me even before the day had started
' Cause I'm just here in our mansion, there's a lot of my dad's men scattered on every corner.
So he doesn't really need to look out for me, but just like he always says, this line annoys me so much.
"This is my job"
That's his always annoying line
