CHAPTER 37

Morning came and we're having our breakfast here.

"Finish that and let's just wait for my dad's assistant secretary, I let him buy your dress."

Viel said before he stood up.

" A girl?" I asked

"Boy," he answered shortly.

Oh, okay.

" After that, we're leaving." Viel continued before he left me and went straight to the bathroom, I think he's going to take a shower.

As what he said, they will go to visit the main base of AeroFlit MCPRLI, and of course, I'll be there too. I like that Idea though, I haven't been there ever, and I want to see where Viel's working. It was located in Everett city in Washington state.

I stood up and was about to go into his room when I heard a knock on the door. I glance at the door and to the bathroom where I could hear the splashing of water, meaning he's not done yet.

I shrugged and walked to the door to open it myself. When I opened the door I saw a man with a good stance too almost like Viel, he was looking down, he was doing something on his phone while on his other hand, he was carrying a lot of paper bags.

I cleared my throat, he didn't notice that I'm here already in front of him.

He suddenly lifted his head and I was surprised to see who it is.

Seriously? Don't tell me he's the Secretary that Viel's talking about? I agree not.

"S-sidro?!" My wide gaze darted toward him.

Yes, it's him! one of Crisha's cousins is here. What a coincidence.

He just flashed a sly smile and nodded a bit. He seems not surprised to see me at all.

" O-oh, come in.." I opened the door widely to let him in. " Viel, ahm. Still in the shower, " I added.

I guide him to sit on the one-seater before I look and asked him.

I think I already told you that this one here is a serious type too, he's not talkative.

" W-what are you doing here?"I asked as my eyes landed on the paper bags he placed behind him.

"Here are your clothes," He says as he pointed to those paper bags.

" S-so, you are the Secretary of Mr. Bandini?" I asked in awe. Well, I never really expect to see him here. Crisha didn't inform me that he's based here.

" Yeah," He nodded seriously.

" Really? Oh okay.." I nodded. " I was just surprised to see you here."

" You can check this now, I personally buy it myself since the personal shopper was not available...so yeah, just check it so we could change immediately if ever it doesn't suit your taste or something." Sidro implied.

I nodded and get the one paper bag on his side.

I'm still wearing Viel's shirt and boxers though, and maybe now I could take a shower and get change.

" Sidro."

A baritone voice came from my back.

" Here it is Viel," Sidro informed formally while he glance at my back where probably Viel was standing.

My breath hitched when I felt Viel's presence near my back. I hope he's not just on his towel.

Just like last night.

"Get changed, Karina." He ordered as he stand by my side.

I sighed in relief when I saw him in my peripheral vision fully dressed.

Sidro was watching us.

I glance at the paper bag I was holding and opened it. I'd want to check it first, I don't want to wear it too short and so fit today.

By just looking at the brand it shouts luxurious. Dior.

"Oh, that's probably the dress,"

Sidro mumbled while watching me open it. And just like Sidro, Viel is only wearing casual today, a grey shirt and black teal shorts.

I picked the soft fabric inside and pulled it all out.

I felt my both cheeks burning, seeing what I was holding.

It's a lace undergarment!

" What the fuc---"

One lacy panty fell on the floor.

" Your mouth, Karina." Viel immediately cut me off as he throws me a warning look. Before I could pick that thin lacy panty, Viel pick led and gave it to me in a very casual way.

I could feel my cheek heard up.

I glace at Sidro who's sitting and I caught him

Slightly scratch his brows and avoided his gaze.

" Oh, my bad, I thought it was the dress." He said, he still manage to be serious though.

I hurriedly put it back all of it on the paper bag once again.

How stupid of you KC! Who told you to check it in front of them anyway?!

I scolded myself, it's funny how uncomfortable I am earlier while this to men here didn't give any reaction. Well, what should I expect from mature and business-minded people?

"You bought it too?" I asked and I tried to sound it casually.

Sidro nodded.

I bit my lower lip, I can't imagine him standing in the undergarments section for girls and picking such lacy thin panty!...

" Go and change, Karina," Viel repeated.

I nodded and Sidro get all the five remaining paper bags and he stood up.

" Thanks for this," I was about to get him those bags but Sidro refused.

" It's okay, let me. I'll handle this for you when you get there" Sidro said as he point to the bathroom door.

It seems like he knows every corner here. Maybe he's been here many times.

I just nodded.

I started to make my way and glance at Viel,

He was frowning.

I turned my back on them heading to the bathroom.

" Sidro,"

I heard Viel's lethal voice when he called Sidro.

"Yes, Viel?" Sidro answered.

"Give me that," I heard Viel say.

I stooped and look at them, they were still a few steps away from me.

I saw how Sidro nodded and handed Viel those paper bags.

I raised my brows while watching them.

They're almost the same when it comes to height.

" Are they already there?" I hear him ask.

" Yeah, they're probably arrived there by now" Sidro answered Viel's question.

Maybe they're talking about my parents.

After a second I saw Sidro sit on the couch while Viel strode his way toward me with the paper bags containing my clothes and other stuff.

" Here,"

His deep voice gives me chills,

" Thanks."

" We'll wait in the living room." He stated monotonously.

" Alright, give me a minute." I shortly said almost in a whisper.

I was about to close the door when he stopped me.

" What?" I asked innocently.

" If you're going to use that lacy thing," he started.

My cheek immediately heated up, he was referring to that very thin lacy white panty!

" Try to choose a comfortable dress, below the knee is much better and don't show too much skin. Karina.'' He reminded.

I was going while staring at him, he f*****g looks bothered!

We leave Viel's condo when I was already done.

I thought Sidro already left but I saw him waiting too while he was talking with Viel, about business. I don't believe he's only a secretary though.

" Thanks," I muttered when he opened the door for me, I got in the car and I saw Viel follow as he get into the car and sit beside me.

We were in the backseat and Sidro was in the driver's seat. Alone.

I caught Sidro's eyes on the rare view mirror.

" how's your stay here, young lady?" He started a conversation.

I glance at Viel first and I saw him resting his head while his eyes were closed.

" Hmm, good so far," I answered.

He just simply nodded and focus on the road.

" How long it will take us to get there, Sidro?"

" It will take us half an hour to get there young lady,"

He answered.

I glance at Viel again but I saw him taking a nap and his phone is on his lap.

" Oh, Okay. " I said and nodded.

"Do you have other another job aside from being the secretary of Mr. Bandini?" I asked.

Crisha's family the Jarera was rich and so were their relatives, so I know Sidro is not far from being one too.

" Yeah," he simply answered while driving.

" Oh, what is it?" I asked attentively.

" IT manager." He responded and maneuver the steering wheel when we pass on the U-turn.

" Oh! Really? That's so cool!" I lively said.

I saw him let out a sly smile when he glance at me through the rare mirror.

It's true though, I find that kind of job so cool.

" Hmm, yeah" he humbled.

I stopped when I heard Viel groan on my side.

I glance at him and I saw how cute he is while sleeping.

He looks tamed, unlike when he's awake.

I was grinning while looking at him and I saw his phone on his lap. I glance at Sidro and he's busy driving so I focus on this frosty man beside me having his peaceful nap. I slowly get the phone on his lap as I lift his huge hands covering it.

" Gotcha," I mumbled and opened his phone.

It doesn't have any security password though.

I press the camera Icon and I smiled widely when I reflected on it clearly.

I pointed the camera at him then I hit the click,

I was pouting as I took many shots of him, I checked all his pictures and all of it is just so cute and jaw-dropping shots, not to mention that he's asleep, but still he looks so damn good effortlessly!

I put on the front cam and I leaned towards him, I smiled widely while looking on Our reflection on the camera, I captured so many shots before I got satisfied.

I checked the images again, and I can't help but to smirk like insane.

We have now pictures together! We have pictures where I'm in a peace sign while smiling widely while he's asleep and we have also pictures where I'm pouting and he's of course, sleeping.

I looked in front when I heard a chucking coming from Sidro.

I caught him glance at the rare view mirror as he shook his head and focuses again on the road.

I bit my lower lip, I think this became my habit now.

With a warm cheek I glance again at Sidro, he was not looking anymore but I know he watches me doing a silly pose earlier while stealing a picture with Viel.

I put Viel's phone on my side and pursed my lips.

" Don't worry young Lady, he wouldn't know anyway." He comforted while chuckling.

I sighed.

" Are we there yet?" I asked him instead.

"Almost, young lady." He replied.

" Don't call me like that," I complained.

I'm so fed up hearing the way they addressed me

'YOUNG' lady!

" What?" Sidro asked.

I roll my eyes at him and didn't say a word.

He chuckles.

"How long are you working as a secretary,

Sidro? " I randomly asked.

" been few years," he answered shortly.

"Ahm, aside from being an IT, do you know how to maneuver jet plane or----". He cut me off by chuckling.

" Nope," he said and his head. " but that engineer beside you knows very well, I think he got a commercial license too for that. After all, he's the successor and will going to handle their aviation business soonest. Why?" Sidro asked and glance at me.

"Nothing, " I shook my head and looked at Viel.

I know he's very skillful and the profession that he chose was the field really meant for him.

" Anyways, if he will find those pictures of him on his phone he will surely turn ballistic." Sidro let out a weak laugh when he says that.

I just shrugged... He won't delete It, I just know.

After a couple of minutes, Sidro slows down the pace of the car as he maneuvered it to enter the enormous gate where there are I think 5 guards, guarding the gate.

The car was entering the gate and I glance at Viel who was totally in a deep sleep, was he tired or sleepless? I didn't notice that.

From the tinted windows, I could see how vast the area is. It's my first time here! Almost an hour we reached here.

"Welcome to the AeroFlit premises young lady,"

Sidro playfully smirks as he glances at Viel who is still asleep.

He parked the car and from here I could see how busy every from their task was.

" I'll just wake him up," I signal Sidro.

He nodded.

I turned to look at this sleepy head here and slightly tapped his cheek. I fix the knot on his hair.

" Viel," I called him.

No response.

" Viel, we're here," I whispered near his ears.

His thick brows only knotted and relax as he went back to his sleep. I can't stop but to chuckle.

Imagine how he looks right now, the very uptight and grumpy man I know was surely groaning here because I'm trying to wake him up and I was disturbing his sleep.

"Viel, wake up we're here, " I slightly tapped his perfect angle jaw.

I know my mom and dad were already here 'cause I saw the limo that we used to get at the party.

"Hmm,"

He pursed his lips.

"I -love you,"

My eyes widens as I heard him mumble those three words unconsciously. I was stunned.

He sleeps talking!

"I-i love you" he repeated, "-- mom" he continued.

My brows knotted, I lift my head and I saw Sidro out of the car he was patiently waiting for us while he was doing something on his phone.

I looked back at Viel and I can't hold myself to caressing to cheek. He's dreaming about his mom. He surely misses her so much.

Who would have thought that this man, who's so cold and strict is hiding something deep down?

" Viel? wake up," I whispered as if on cue I saw how his eyes opened and those enchanting different color eyes of him never fail to amaze and drowned me in them.

His forehead crinkled for a bit as he watch my face closely.

"Good morning, sleepy head." I teased and chuckled.

"Shut up, you brat." He snorted which only make me laugh out loud. From that, I could say that he's fully awake.

I'd rather see him like this, grumpy and moody than earlier when he was asleep, he looks....vulnerable.

I wander my eyes in awe in this vast expanse of the AeroFlit MCPRL.

The tremendous establishment was proudly giving me a great facade. I roamed my eyes around and just like almost the same wide as ours, my dad who runs our private chartering business was also massively expanded. Well, this is really the world of multinational businesses.

And if the time comes my dad and mom will going to turn it over to me, I know I have to be a thousand times more flexible for me to handle it. And that sucks.

" Karina,"

I heard Viel call me.

I was busy looking at this place for the very first time I got here and freely wandered around.

"Come here," He added. It's because I was still standing beside the car and stopped for a moment to examine the place. I didn't notice that he was already waiting for me and Sidro on his side standing and watching me silently.

" Where are we going?" I asked while I was still busy looking around.

" What? Of course, we're going to the office. Unless you have all day to stand there the whole day just to see everything's here outside.

I pouted and raised my brows at him.

"Tss," Grumpy!

" Come one." He said, Sidro guide the way and we're following him from the back, I kept looking around as we take the wide aisle towards the high tower in front of us.

From afar, I could see the very wide runway and busy crews who were focused on their duty.

" Karina!..look on the way, you might stumble down."

AI heard Viel snap at me while we were walking, Sidro was in front of us, and there was no other staff on our way through, since they were busy with their things. I was amazed, alone. Of course, this was my first here that so I'm appreciating

It. Unlike these two men, I'm walking with, they're of course used to this.

We were heading to the entrance and when we entered the lobby, I saw one of the staff on her desk bowing and greeting each of us. But I caught how she gawk over these two men here, especially to Viel!

Sidro asked something to the girl. I glance at this frosty on my side who seems he doesn't care what goes on and he looks like he just wants to lie on the floor and continue his peaceful sleep which I disturbed him a while ago.

" They're in the director's office," I turned to look at the girl once again when I heard probably the answer to Sidro's question.

" Oh, alright, thanks."

After that, we went upside the lift.

Sidro pressed the 45th floor if I'm not mistaken, it's where Mr. Bandini and my parents are right now, maybe they are still not inspected and roamed the area yet.

"Viel," I called Vie, I didn't get any answer from him, this one seems to be sleeping even though he's awake, it's not possible but it's possible for him!

"You need something young lady?" Sidro asked me instead.

I shook my head at him, " Don't call me young lady, Sidro!" I exclaimed grumpily.

He chuckles and in my peripheral vision I saw Vile lift his head, we are still inside the elevator though.

" What then? But I hear them calling you like that so just let me.

"Whatever," I hissed.

" We're here,"

Sidro announced when we stop and got out of the lift.

" Come one, " Viel mumbled using his deep voice before he walked past to me

Sidro gave me a sly smile when he looked at me, at least he knows how to lift his lips to show even an almost invisible smile unlike that frosty unromantic man named Viel Conrad! I will not gonna change what I call him, I love it though, it suits him very well.

"Oh? Only one door?" I asked to Sidro since he was close to me too.

" Yes, young lady," Sidro answered formally before we reached the director's office and knocked three times.

If I'm on my usual day, And if I am at our house, I don't do knocking.

Sidro opened the door and informed the people inside that we are there, I looked at Viel and he seems in deep thought right now, I shook my head as I glance at him like seriously? What's wrong with him?

" Your parents are waiting for you, young lady also to Viel, you may in now " he informed and opened the door widely, and from here I saw the back of my parents against me while looking at Mr. Bandini who's talking.

Me. Bandini stopped and smiled on my way.

" Oh, there they are," I heard men say that to my parents.

I ended the almost white and spacious office of Mr bandini, and the side glass wall was giving a very great view from here.

" Sweetheart,"

My mom welcomed me halfway as he clung to me and made me a seat on the five-seater leather couch. Then she looks at Viel and her smile grew wider.

" Thanks for letting our daughter stay in your condo for the night Viel.

Mom said while looking behind my back,

"Sure thing, Mrs. Tyson." He says in a low husky voice, he sounds still so sleepy.

" I hope she didn't do something inappropriate Viel," my dad suddenly said and he gave me a leer look.

" I already told you, dad! I'm now a good girl okay?!

I bit my lips when a Heard and deep chuckle came from the Father of Viel, Borromeo Bandini.

He's looking at me with amusement.

" Can't you see you're only daughter is just so adorable Hebron? Loosen up." Mr. Boromeo uttered.

My cheek heated up when he said that, I'll take it as a compliment. Though, he did really compliment me.

I glance at my back and my forehead creased when I noticed that Viel was no longer on my back because I just found him In the one-seater sleeping soundly.

I frowned as I look at him, our parents were here but he maybe he doesn't give a care about that.

I looked to find Sidro but he's not here in the office, he probably has something to do.

" Come here, Cassidy. Sit here." My mother said

I saw my dad looking at me and so did Mr. Bandini, when he noticed Viel's situation on that one single seater made him chuckle more.

"What happened to Viel, Cassidy?"

All of them were looking at me including Mr. Boromeo Bandini who until now he's frowning while watching his son, who just entered here and throw himself on the seat and afterward fell into a deep slumber.

Viel even seems clouded a while ago when we were still on our way here.

" He's probably, tired?" I answered hesitantly, well, I'm not sure, I don't know too. Maybe he is just sleepy today.

Suddenly my phone rang and all of them looked at me,

" Oh, sorry, excuse me I'll just answer this call" I excused formally and half running went out our the office.

I couldn't even appreciate the amazing interior design and the other structure in this large building establishment because I was busy having a conversation with my parents and the very owner director of AeroFlit.

" Hello? Crisha?" I asked immediately right after I clicked answer bottom.

" KC!"

I silently wince when she suddenly called my name in a high-pitched voice and she giggles after that.

" What is it Crisha?" I asked once again,

Crisha doesn't know I'm in Seattle, WA, we're not usually exchanging whereabouts every time though.

" Let's have fun tonight?! " She suggested excitedly, " Oh, come on, KC my cousins weren't here anymore KC, boredom is killing me!". She

Says in a pitty voice.

" I'm in Seattle, Crisha, maybe next time? " I suggested.

I'm after a moment I heard her exaggeratedly sigh on the other line. I looked at the closed door,

Where my parents are.

" Oh, you didn't tell me!" Crisha exclaimed before she spoke.

"Alright, next time, next time okay? I'll look forward to that." She warmed me as If I should be present next time.

" Yes, Crisha," I answered shortly.

" Alright! Ciao!"

Crisha ended the call and that's when I went back to the office.

I reached them talking.

" Oh, it's in a good state Boromeo, I have a trusted secretary so it's fine." I heard my dad's business-like voice as if he was about to close a deal.

" Yeah, great--- " Mr. Bandini said and he noticed me walking towards my parents.

I looked in Viel's direction first and I can't help but my lower lip. I can't hold my amusement so I let out a weak laugh, damn he looks so cute a hot as always especially since he's only on his casual clothes, and a plain shirt. His attractiveness didn't decrease even a bit, he even looks more attractive right now.

I wonder if he didn't get a good sleep last night? He probably didn't get a good sleep last night because he wasn't comfortable.

That's possible.

I felt a bit of guilt thinking that I might be the reason. Again. But I offered to him that we'll just share his bed, but he refused so that's what he got.

Instead of sitting on the same couch with my parents, I chose to be on Viel's side.

I looked around the entire office and I find it clean and refreshing.

I was sitting in the back beside Viel and the elders were talking that I couldn't hear since they were a few steps away.

Suddenly, the door opened and I saw a woman pushing a stroll containing food and she was followed but Sidro.

Sidro was handling papers for Mr. Bandini,

That's probably a papers to be signed. Then after that, he excuse himself again and stormed out of the office, while the girl prepared that food-- oh, it's actually desserts that she prepared for elders before she went toward my direction.

She politely smiled at me before she glances at Viel whose sleeping peacefully in a careless position.

I watched the girl intently,

She has short hair and bronze skin-- that's all.

The girl's face heated up when she saw me watching her as she kept on glancing at oblivious Viel.

"I-i am, " she stammered for a second before she got to brace herself and smiled at me.

" Enjoy your dessert ma'am!" She lively and bowed before she turned her back on me.

After that woman excused herself, she storms out of the office too with the stroller she brought sling with her.

Good thing that my parents aren't in demand for my presence right now 'cause they just let be to sit here away from them.

I glance at the dessert that the woman prepared for me.

I frowned, what is this again----- oh, it's a cassava cake. I remember, Shawn already gave me this on his birthday and it tastes great.

I began to enjoy my dessert when I felt Viel move. Besides me, I thought he was going to wake up but to my surprise, I just felt his territorial arms snake on my waist! I was shocked and look at our parents, they were busy though, Viel was still in a deep sleep and something I noticed him today, he keeps on doing that unconsciously.

My parents would reacted exaggerately, especially my mom if they'll caught us so close like this.

I tried to get away from his tight grip but he just pulled me back tighter.

" Hey!" I blurted out in a whispers when he nuzzled his nose on my arms! this unromantic man is just giving me a goosebumps after a goosebumps.
