CHAPTER 81

"Let's go?"

I asked Viel after we ate. He brought me to a cozy restaurant and I didn't comment on that... I went here to feed the monster in my stomach anyway.

Everyone here was dressed formally... I could see some couples having a good time with each other and on the other side are families.

Viel's thick brows shot up as he looked at me.

His examining gaze is like checking me if I'm full and satisfied.

I surely smiled at him yet his serious facade stayed and didn't sway.

He sighed and slowly he nodded.

" Let's go," he stated and stood up from his seat, and just like that I'm back tilting my head up to look at him 'cause he's towering over me.

I nodded like a good girl before I began to walk towards the exit way of this restaurant.

I checked the time... It's already 6:30 in the afternoon.

We're walking in the direction of where his car was parked.

" Uhmm, where are we going?" I asked.

He was about to open the door for me when I asked that.

" 'going to drive you home." He answered briefly.

I pouted as I slid myself into the car.

I don't want to go home yet and besides, I don't have any homework for now.

"What? I don't want it yet!" I ranted.

Viel started the engine.

"What do you want then?" He asked using his serious tone as if he just asked that for the sake that he doesn't want to hear any rants from me.

I pursed my lips as I settled my eyes on him.

"You booked a room?" I asked.

I felt the tip of my nose sting something on my nose, so I rubbed at it while looking at him.

He shook his head while his eyes were focused on the road.

" No," he responded and still busy.

I sit up straight and looked at him attentively.

So does it mean he will be having a flight tonight?...

" You're going home?" I asked and the disappointment in my voice was so evident.

"No," he answered shortly.

"So? You'll stay for the night? Where's Sidro by the way?" I asked

I saw Viel licking his lips before he answered and then again I can't help my eyes but trailed them down to his vein arms they look so f*****g hot.

" He's with my Dad on a business trip." He answered.

I sighed.

I remember that Sidro was his dad's secretary and sometimes he appeared on the even for Viel... Or on behalf of the two.

"Then? Where are you staying right now? Can I come?" I asked innocently.

I just want to see if ever he has a house or condo here perhaps since he said that didn't book a room in the hotel.

Viel's blazing gaze immediately flew at me...

He looks like upset or something.

I raised my brows, I don't understand this man...my man. He's looking at me as if I just spilled out something that affects him in some way... The way he clenches his jaw and licks his lower lip.

"Shut it, Karina. You just don't say to a guy that you'll go with him on his house." He started seriously.

Just like always, I was just here watching him silently as he do his things on the steering wheel,

"Viel..." I called him softly.

I was just looking at him and then to the steering wheel, Luka my bodyguard wasn't here, well he better not be around if I'm with Viel though, I just want to spend my time alone with him and idea of my bodyguard following me around that's not really a good idea, Viel won't like to be watched either.

To drive is what I really wanted, if I just didn't met an accident couple nlmonths ago I could picture that I was able to drive one and go whenever I wanted but unfortunately, how bad that it's so far from my situation right now.

My parents won't allow me, and there's Luka will do everything for me as he was told so.

"No." Viel answered with his deep and and with finality when I asked him to let me be on the driver seat. I told him I want to drive but off course he won't listen ... as always.

I pouted as I rested my head on my seat, well I won't try hard anymore it won't still work I swear.

"What do you like about a girl?" I asked him nonchalantly.

Viel didn't answered which made me pouted for several times today. I don't know if he heard me or he's again lazy to even utter a word.

"Viel...Viel----" I was annoyingly calling for his attention and good thing I succeeded as she glance at me with his thick brows frowning.

"Karina, shut up you better take a nap, come on." He casually said but seriousness in his voice will always visible.

It was thick and deep, it's just so manly that I wanted to hear for all my life.

" I'm not sleepy," I grumpily answered.

And once again, I didn't get an answer firm him again.

This man! He can just easily makes me frustrated.

"So?" I raised my brows as I looked at him.

"Tss," Viel.

"Viel---" I was about to throw a feet like a kid but when his gaze turned to me and that beautiful enchanted eyes darted on mine.... it's like cat just cut my tongue ...

It's always breathtaking, he's always breathtakingly beautiful who surrounded by seriousness.

He's firm and collected... I'm--- well, I'm a fine lady.... I think---oh, cut that I'm really a fine and very obedient lady to her parents so I can proudly say that we're just good for each other.

" haven't you already asked me about that?" He said as he put all his attention on the road, we're near our mansion.

I slowly shook head, well... maybe I did? I forgot though.

"I want a woman," he simply answered.

I chuckle.

" are you kidding me? There are millions of woman in the world" I said confused.

" it's not what I mean, Karina."
