AS THE Fourth shoot for James’ terrible scene — broadcasting Zach’s last footage and execution live — approaches, Liam is increasingly unreliable about being in touch. Alex, meanwhile is increasingly worried. Not only about Liam’s capacity for dealing with the episode as written, but about the very massive and intentional gaps that exist between what they did at the table read and what Victor has actually been shooting. Alex almost wonders if Victor is trying to get the show killed early. Certainly, he’s about to piss off a lot of people, none of whom have ever liked him and all of whom control the money and the network’s schedule.
Alex badgers until he finally gets Liam to agree to meet for lunch the first week of October.
