“LEE,” ALEX SAYS WHEN Liam finally picks up the phone a few days later. It’s late afternoon, Paul is at work, and Alex is on the couch with Todd stretched out next to him. “I know what you’re shooting. And I know you have people who will take care of you. And I don’t know why you’re like this, but some of this is my fault and some of it is about me. What do you need from me?” Liam takes a breath that Alex can hear all the way down the line.
