“I’ve been looking at some movies,” Alex says.
Paul nods and braces himself.
Alex goes on. “There are a few options that might be good, but there’s one I really want. When I was in New York I sat down with the director and did some chemistry reads. Nothing’s set in stone yet, and nothing’s going to be certain for maybe a long time, but I really want this. I think they want me. It just depends on whether they think the audience wants me too.”
