35 Kira barely managed to unwind her legs and roll aside before the man collapsed on top of her. Trevor stood one step up on the stairs with his rock in his hand. He looked down at Kira with a wild grin, his blue eyes alight. “Got ’im,” he said. “I would have managed it earlier if you two hadn’t spend so much time writhing all over the place… I was afraid I might hit you by mistake.” Kira leveled him with a look from where she lay on her back on the landing.
