The phantom of ignorance

             Waking to all sounds, chirping of the birds outside, the loud barks of the dogs. in the house without a shame of what's happening but it hurts an iron being cut open; it's all blurry, partying all night was fun but facing the reality of adulthood scares me back to my fantasies of a colorful garden but the wishes cane with a price I'm to pay. Richard is a half-nerd student and a full-time baller, which in turn affects his studies, and this thought bothers him, cause it doesn't come all easy and quick. Bribing the school officers was the only way he got in, cause why on earth will a fully exposed person with no resources. Being in an A-listed school studying hard without any excuses got him here but Shawn got to be his roommate because his parent is heads of cooperate companies and all resources are available to him but Richard lacked financial backing, and in turn of living a little better and eating well Shawn does all he knows best, partying, having the nicest time with ladies while Richard battles both their Assignment. Being a cool kid in school has made me lose the integrity I had due to the bully in class. Travis who also is a rich kid makes jest of my humility. After class at noon, Richard stays back at the open library to study and read ahead of everyone in other to avoid more insults. Waking early preparation was how Richard was brought up and he always says to himself "I owe my final result to myself" and no other person.                Do you understand anything?                Why don't you try it again!                 Just the way I showed you! But he had no patience too, all he could think of was fun till he ducks or play video games till he hunger for ladies. You're the one who always wants to watch it play video games Richard said. I just asked Shawn said  Shawn watched all erotic movies he could find online. Richard stayed up all night studying but all Shawn does for their free time is to indulge in the fun even though he knows the test starts tomorrow being the middle of the semester all tests are conducted for a week to prepare every student against exams.  Ain't you going to read Richard asked Shawn. Don't bother, I have it all under control Shawn said. Richard left Shawn to be himself since all he's being I'm serious. when Richard got up the next morning to prepare and revise all he read as against the test period. The first thing he saw was Shawn's irresponsible way of living but he couldn't do a thing to change him since he insisted on being a pain in the ass, Immediately he went to shower, stepped out of the bathroom seeing Shawn sleeping pains because of Shawn irresponsibility also is his responsibility. Out of anger, Richard splashes water on him to wake him up but Shawn took it real hard only for him to hit Richard and it resulted in an altercation that made Richard storm out of the room in anger.  Am leaving and you know what to do Richard said to Shawn and he replied yes I know just do you and let me do me. Walking to class in anger, he wasn't being himself and a couple of his friends walked up to him but he gave them a silent treatment.  Richard what's going on; Thelma is his day one friend who also got a scholarship into the same school as Richard. He wasn't ready to talk so he kept his head down and unlocks his phone but Thelma snatched it and forces him to respond to her questions but the move she made didn't even move and being a Capricorn she insisted. Richard baker report to the Head of the department office, your attention is being needed, he saw that as a very great opportunity to avoid Thelma for the rest of the period, making his way to the office he mind became unsettled cause he hasn't been doing well in his academics and he quietly said a short prayer to feel a bit of rest in his mind. Entering his office Richard saw a pretty young lady who looked like his daughter.        Good morning sir! Richard greeted the Hod  How are you!, yes the reason you're here is to give miss Stephanie a tour of the campus because she's new here as a transfer student and I trust you to do well because am trusting you with her safety for the rest of the day. Ok sir Richard said  He and Stephanie exchange pleasantries and they both left the office. Stephanie smiled at all Richard was saying as they made their way to her class. Every eye was on them both as they walked down the hallway like couples, walking side by side but the closeness gave everyone a different impression. But all Richard was concerned about is the joy of walking a light caramel thick girl to class. Instantly Richard took advantage of their conversation and asked for her contact stating it was just to locate her after class to continue the tour if she would be willing to with him. Richard excused himself to able able to meet up with the class and he described the direction to her class. With a wide smile on his face, he walked into the lecture theatre not minding how loud his footsteps were. The test began immediately after he entered and Mrs. Anthony shared the questions and gave them all 20 minutes to finish all they have to do. Shawn began to count the seats before him because of his incompetent way of balancing school and fun. Five minutes remaining Mrs. Anthony said then Shawn swallowed his pride and begged Shawn to help out but it was already late, still, yet he helped the best way he could. Richard shared his answers with Shawn secretly in other to not get caught
