I hadn’t realized that I had pushed Kero into the water until I saw him as I fell in. The water was so freezing cold that for a second, I couldn’t react. But as soon as I realized I couldn’t breathe, I swam to the top. Kero was treading.
He glared at me.
“Sorry.” I said. “I’m really sorry! I didn’t mean to hurt you!”
He jumped out and shook himself dry again
I crawled out behind him. Unfortunately, I couldn’t shake myself dry like he could. I sat on the ground next to him, soaking wet. “I’m sorry!” I repeated.
He looked at me. “Don’t worry about it.”
I let out a little yelp when I saw blood coming out of his nose.
He raised an eyebrow and then, turned around and looked at his friends, who were all staring at him
“You’re… bleeding!” Aryan said.
