I think it would have been easier to carry her but for some reason, I didn’t want to. I felt like holding her hand was better. Her palm wasn’t soft but it wasn’t rough. Was that how it was supposed to feel? I couldn’t remember how a girls hand felt, it’s been a long time since I’ve held one. Her skin, however, was soft. Very soft. I was tempted to rub the back of her hand on my cheek, to see how soft it really was. But of course, I didn’t.
