My brother had picked me up that Monday evening and like every other time he picked me up, he started our conversation by asking me about my day.
“Fine. We’re going to start learning about Egyptian mythology and stuff tomorrow!” I said, excitedly.
“I see.” He said, smiling.
“Why are you smiling?” I asked, looking at him suspiciously.
He looked at me and shrugged, “I guess I’m just happy to see you happy.”
I laughed. “Yeah, ok.” I said. “What’s really up?”
He laughed too. “Nothing, I was serious.”
I smiled, I loved my brother.
When we got home, I decided to finish my homework first. It took a while but as soon as I was done, I took a bath and went downstairs to watch TV. I watched the end of a boring documentary with my brother and then the news came on.
