Breakfast was a tense affair. I was glad when it was over and Buck and I were heading up to talk to Amyleigh. It wasn't going to be an easy conversation but we both decided that the longer she had to get used to the idea, the better it would be for her. I paused at her doorway, dreading what was to come.
