On the first day, Valeria officially began her work.
Adrien watched as he packed little Mia's bag, holding her in his arms.
"Your father will know her."
"So will my brother."
"Nervous?"
"I can't be. It's my first day of work, and I don't have time for that. I need to stay focused. I'm glad Mia will be nearby."
"Don't we have lunch together?"
"I don't think so. It's my first day."
"And?"
"Adrien... I'm not the boss. It's my first day at work. Haven't you ever had a first day? It's important; it sets the tone for the days to come."
"I don't get it. Why does it matter if we have lunch?"
"We won't have lunch together."
"I always come home to have lunch with you, Val," and I don't want to lose that.
"I'm sorry," she paused. "My first week on the job is important, an
