The night sky was dark as ink. The weather had turned colder as the new season approached. The temperature had risen inside the presidential suite in Scarlet Dune Hotel, which is very opposite to the outside weather. A beautiful woman with pearly white skin was sprawled on the wide bed. Her cheeks were red, and her eyes were moist with wetness. Her eyebrows were wrinkled as the heat started to spread throughout her body. “Hmm.” Her voice was soft as she moved her body irritably. The uncomfortable feeling was making her dizzy as a new wave of flame started to burn her insides. Suddenly, an imposing figure pressed down on her and completely imprisoned her under his huge frame. Her body shook from the effort of withstanding his body weight. The man’s face was so close to hers that she was able to smell the faint scent of alcohol from him. Before she could even make a move, his movements were fast and impatient as he tore the dress. Her soft, pearly white skin was exposed to the air. Suddenly, his large hands delved in— “I-I… ” Sabrina said breathlessly as the heat increased in her body. Her mind was in a dizzy mode, and her consciousness was slowly drifting away due to her intoxicated state.  The girl’s delicate body had made the man’s beastly side heightened. His icy figure rubbed her lips harshly and played around with them nonstop. Sabrina tried to beg for mercy and continued to struggle, but it seemed that the man had blocked his ears completely. “Why did you marry him?” His youthful yet deep voice was akin to red wine, rich and mellow. It was a husky voice that could draw people in. His brain was in total chaos because of the drug in him. However, the dreamy wedding of that woman as she married another man resurfaced in his memory, stimulating him, even more, to become harsher. The man’s violent movement made Sabrina stiffen. She dared not move recklessly. Her heart beat thunderously in her chest. It was as if her heartbeats were forcing themselves out of her chest. Sabrina closed her eyes as different crazy sensations passed through her body at the same time.  “Wait—” Sabrina tried to keep her eyes open, but there was nothing she could see but blurry images. Her thoughts were distracted, and her body was scalding hot. He slowly raised his eyes and held her chin with his hand. Under the dim moonlight, his eyes drooped down to look at her bashful face. He asked coldly, “Do you regret it? Did you regret marrying him?” Sabrina could not hear clearly what he was saying as her mind was in total chaos. Her mind was solely focused on what his hands were doing to her body as pleasure kept rising in her. It was a foreign feeling, but it made her feel giddy inside. Sensing the changes on her body, the man was satisfied with her surrender and abruptly delved in one fell swoop. Breaking that layer of the boundary was such a vivid sensation. Sabrina gritted her teeth as she felt that severe pain in her body. Her voice was hoarse. She inhaled the cool air as she tried to withstand the excruciating pain. Her body became as stiff as a stone, and she could no longer move. It was a jet of something unfamiliar and strange, as if it was ripping her apart. Her vision almost went black at that instant, and she nearly passed out from the pain. “You were my everything, yet I wasn’t enough for you… I gave my heart to you, but you left it broken to pieces. You’re heartless—” Sabrina heard him murmur softly, but she was unable to hear them clearly as she was too tired and completely drained. In the end, she drifted to sleep. *** Sabrina opened her eyes and stared blankly at the soft-colored ceiling. Her mind was so cloudy that she did not quite feel like herself. The luxurious sheets touching her palm were not the usual ones that she used; the light above her head was also not the usual lighting she was accustomed to waking up to. Her body ached badly, as if it had just been torn apart by something. When she lifted her wrist, the purplish-green marks on it were clear and obvious to the eye. She covered her mouth to stop herself from making any noise and lifted the blanket. When she saw that her body was completely naked, she almost let out a scream. Everything that had happened… That was not a dream at all! She tried to ransack her mind, but she could not remember anything at all, even the man’s face who she had slept with. That man whom she had lost her first…  Sabrina tried to compose herself. Everything’s fine. Everything’s going to be okay. It was her fiancee. She remembered that Ethan was there as well during the celebration, although she could not remember what had transpired after they drank. Suddenly, the door opened, which startled Sabrina. She looked up, and confusion resurfaced on her face when she saw a familiar figure walking inside the room. “My dear sister, did you like the birthday gift last night?” Vivian smiled brightly. Crossing her arms, she sauntered over to stand in front of Sabrina. In her high heels, she looked down arrogantly at her disheveled appearance. “What? Didn’t you like my gift? I believe you were having a blast last night with a man who is not your fiancee.” Sabrina’s heart skipped a beat, and her body seemed to freeze, “What did you say?” “It took me a long time to prepare this wonderful gift for your birthday.” Vivian laughed hysterically, “See, it perfectly suited you. My gift, I mean.” Sabrina’s face got paler and white with every word she said. That man…  It’s not her fiancee?! How stupid could she get?…  She couldn’t believe that she had been set up by her sister! “You were the one who drugged me?! How dare you!” Sabrina shouted in anger. Yesterday, she celebrated her birthday with her friends. Of course, she had a close relationship with her half-sister, who was older than her, so she was also invited to her party. But who would have thought that she would do this thing to her? No wonder she got drunk easily. Although her alcohol tolerance wasn’t that good, one glass of wine could not make her drunk. “Hahaha, you are really so naive.” Vivian’s lips hooked up, and sneered. She then raised a flash drive in her hand, saying, “What do you think my future brother-in-law would think if he saw that his fiancee had slept with a different man just days before their wedding?” Sabrina froze on the spot after seeing that drive. ‘No! I can’t let Ethan see it! No!’ Sabrina pulled up the quilt and tried to grab the flash drive from her step-sister, but Vivian quickly dodged her and pushed her back to the bed. “Not so fast, Sabrina…” Vivian laughed as she looked at the despair on her sister’s face. “The gentle, smart, and kind fiancee. You are so perfect in Ethan’s mind… What will he feel once he founds out about your dirty secret?” “You… What do you want?! Why are you doing this to me?!” Sabrina started trembling as she heard this. “What have I ever done to you for you to do this to me?!” In a snap, Vivian’s eyes turned colder, “You took what’s rightfully mine! Everything you have, it should have been mine!” Confusion flashed in Sabrina’s eyes as she couldn’t understand what she was saying, “What do you mean?” “Aren’t you the perfect daughter? While me? I’m just a shadow of yours!” Vivian said angrily, “Even if I’m the older sister, I’ve always been living behind your shadows! Everything should have been mine if you had not been born! Because of you, I lost Dad’s affection!” “Vivian, I- I didn’t know…  I didn’t know you felt that way! I’m sorry…” Sabrina pleaded, “But please, Vivian, I cannot lose him. I cannot lose Ethan.” However, her pleadings only brought delight to Vivian. She grabbed Sabrina’s chin with force to make her look at her, “It’s too late. I will take everything you love and make you lose everything. Love, money, and family. I will take them all away from you, and there will be nothing left for you.” With that, Vivian pushed her back and left the room. Sabrina’s mind turned blank as she watched her step-sister leaving the room, with the flash drive in her possession. No, she can’t just stay here! She had to explain it to Ethan. Ethan will understand her. This was all planned by Vivian, and she could not allow her to destroy her happiness. She immediately wiped off the tears on her face and took her clothes scattered on the floor. Sabrina quickly dressed and hurried out…
