The era of darkness, had soon, to pass. Witches were feared, their existence, birthing irrationality, within, the common folks. Men and women, participated, every day to witness, the witches, the malignant of their everyday corruption, of the mind, being burned. Streets, filled with the words, of hypocrisy. The empty words, of those priests, causing, more and more division, between them. Evil Gods, influencing more and more depravity within society and to my horror, this is the world, I reincarnated within.

1. Another Life
There are many times, a man has to make, a decision. This is a common truth, of this society. "How dare you?!!" My mind wandered off, of these events. Again, getting stabbed by a wandering robber while saving a girl in plight, was never in my daily routine.  Still, screw this bullshit world.   Few Hours Earlier: I was nothing, a dead beat to be exact. Uncaring of others plight, I lived my life, alone. But, I had no remorse, no sadness for, any of my, actions.  Then again, being alone, was never bad for me. At least, the silence was my friend and the greatest ally. The drops of water slowly dripping from the old, rusty tap, the smell of unmaintained furniture and sensation of emptiness, comforted me, once more. Through every breathe, I, look, on to my computer, wishing to understand, more, on why I, remain unchosen, unworthy, of any one's, attention. A wish, I had, to do something, in life. The situation, however, forced me, to change. Changing to something, more despicable, something I, as, a living breathing human, could never, accept.  Still, this was my lot, in this life, forced, on my hands. I would stagnate, in this corruption, woven, by myself, trying to enclose, my heart, in the shell, of these four walls. Until... I decided, to step out, of my home. The streets were boisterous, the hum of everyday life, leaving me, behind, soared, though, my ears.  A wish, I had, to once, be a part of it. Then, again, it was but a wish and naturally, wishes were, never meant, to be fulfilled. Well, people might think, ah, 'If you can think that much, why, be a dead beat, a useless garbage to the society?'  For them, I will answer, 'This great one, is not any, normal dead beat. I, too, have mastered, my divine arts, for this action. Wasting every day, reading books, on laws or relative physics or anything.' I would consider myself, as a proactive dead beat.  This would at least, mean that I, too, as a human, have class. A worth, which proves my mark, towards this unfavourable world, ruled by the dictation, of that corporate overlord or even chained, by their own selves. I, Daniel would never accept, myself. I promised wholeheartedly, on that day, when my beloved sister, left this world, without having any proper care.  Died and left me, all alone. "Do you think, you are some big shot" Again, my thoughts were disturbed?  The boisterous sound of the moving life... "Hell, do ya think I am deaf, speak up?!! Hand over your money or else" Again, I emphasize, that, I am a dead beat but unlike another dead beat, I have class. Saving her, from this circumstance, would aid her. Seeing a person, in distress, as a human, is forcing, my consciousness, to help. Then again, my morality, was already, down the drains.  Taking the logical step, as a productive and cohesive member, of the society(which I never was), I ran away. Just one more step... But it seems, fate, was not, on my side. The moment, I tried, she looked at me. Her look, conveyed her message boldly, 'Are you really gonna leave me here, you piece of s**t'  Although it hurt my feelings, still now, I cannot leave, unless, I want the police, to interrogate me. "Listen, you..." "Hey, Is that how, someone, talks to a lady. You should be ashamed, as a fellow dead beat, performing acts like these" The man was bulky, having an enormous weight, to him. He wore, ripped jeans and an old torn shirt, over him with a knife, in his hands. "Hah...we got a hero, here. What are you gonna do? Call your mommy?"  Again, he hated his face. Because of his loss of weight, caused by his current lifestyle, he now, looked, younger and more handsome than before, making some question, if he truly, was an adult or not. "Look, we both don't want, anything more, happening here. If you take your knife and stab her, the amount of time spent in jail would make your girlfriend run away and secondly, the lady's guy is a lawyer. So, you should know, how long the charges are, gonna be. Isn't it?" Lying through the teeth. How he loved this skill. "...Yes. You'll be there for your entire life, rotting" Suddenly, sirens went off, near the surrounding. "You tricked me" The robber look at me in rage. "You called the police. Now, my life is over" He was going on like a mad man. Blubbering and shaking, finally, he looked at me, with a deranged expression. He smiled as if, he had, an epiphany, of a lifetime. "..if I am going out anyway, then, gladly, I will take you, with me" With his knife, the bulky man lunged, at me.  Because of my ideal lifestyle, I was a tad bit late, to show off my, endless, battle potential. Before I knew it, something went through, my stomach. The lady, who was there, looked horrified and became paralyzed, in fear. "...Now, it's her turn" He stood up and went to the office lady. The squelching sound of the blade being pushed, inside her stomach, went through, my ears. Slowly, my vision grew hazy.  Although I never, wished, such to happen, it still happened. Why did I leave my house? Why did I save her?  Questions piling, over my head. Still, the warm hand, holding mine, stood as the only justification, I needed for this deed. And finally, with great regrets, I, Daniel, the dead beat, died.
