Cathy woke up to the sound of Caleb's voice. It was still dark, but she could see him pacing. He was speaking into his mobile phone, and the light from the device illuminated one side of his face. He was not happy. 'I will catch the first flight out and join you. He can not disappear again.' He ended the call, and noticed that Cathy was awake. 'Can I come with you?' she asked. 'I would feel better knowing that you were here, safely away from Leon' he answered, sitting down beside her, kissing her on the forehead. 'That makes sense' she grumbled, not happy at being left behind. He got up and dressed. Then he took a duffel bag and threw some clothes in it. He hugged her to him tightly. 'I will be back as soon as I can. Please don't leave the packlands' he requested. 'I will be here' she said
