“ I'll be heading out now, Lyra. See you.” I said and waited to see if she'll respond.
No response came, I shrugged my shoulders and stepped out. “Maybe she's still sleeping. It was such a long day anyways.”
I hopped in my car, zooming off for my father's mansion. It was a long ride from here, and I took my good time.
Like I always did, I stopped by a cafe to grab a hot cup of coffee. Then I continued driving to my father's mansion.
It had been a while I last saw him, the last time was just us sitting in the same room too, not much ever goes on between us.
