Lyra's POV
Kira stood still for a while before finally comprehending what I said. She covered her mouth in shock, “One of the Rourke's children lives with you?” she asked and stared around frantically.
I quickly pulled her aside before she makes a noise and attract Luca. “Just take a seat and don't say a single word. I'll be right back.”
She took her seat on one of the chairs and watched as I left. I took Eleanor to her room, she immediately walked to her bed and laid down.
“You seem tired today.” I said and kissed her cheek before leaving her room.
I went to my room afterwards, it had been such a long day. I was exhausted and still concerned about a lot of things.
