Chapter 34

Now we are in McKinley. Exactly in choir room and standing in front of the others. Actually I'm sitting down ontop of piano with Santana.

Finn asked us to help him with the sectionals thing that we dont know what he want to do for glee club.

"All right, do you realize, standing before you are legends?" Finn says to them and sit down on the front row.

They just cheering and applauding for us. It's kinda bothering actually when Sam and Brittany are sitting down on the front row and next to each other and Sam have his hand around Brittany's shoulder.

"Any single one of these guys could be.

President of the United States one day." Finn grins at them

"I don't know about that." Artie mumbles.

"And lucky for us, they've agreed to help us." Finn says to them.

"Hang with the new chumps and see if some of our sheer awesomeness doesn't rub off on you." Puck says proudly.

"Wanky." Santana simply said.

"Overload forehead." I roll my eyes.

"And Emily you pair up with Tina for the costume duty." Finn says.

"Hold up-hold up, everyone get pair and you give me a job in costume duty?" I raise my eyebrows at Finn.

"Yeah, I give you a partner and it's Tina." Finn says innocently.

"This is the special place that you told me last night? This? Finn, everyone in this room knows that I cant sew." I protest.

"I didnt know about that." Joe frowns.

"Okay, you know it, Finn and you place me in costume duty it's like you want them to perform for sectionals with bikini." I frown at Finn.

"You can learn from now." Finn frowns at me.

"Listen, Hudson. You told me to learn how to sew it's like I told you to learn how to cook. Impossible thing to do! Hell to the No!" I protest.

"Franketeen, your sister is talented as hell and you place her in duty costume? What kind of brother are you." Santana frowns at Finn.

"Aww thank you. You dont have to defended me actually because I can handle this big guy and I know his weakness." I said to Santana.

"Alright, Emily you're in charge for the girls choreography along with costume duty with Tina." Finn says to me.

"How many times I have to tell you that I cant sew, Finn Christopher Hudson! I'm fine with that job but my main problem is I cant sew and if you place me there it's like you wanna ruin them." I protest.

"Just help her not sew." Finn rolls his eyes.

"Alright." I roll my eyes.

"The worst mistake that we can make is to underestimate our competition. The Warblers are ruthless this year. Don't forget about the Rosedale Mennonites. Any show choir that can raise a barn in five minutes deserves mad respect. Marley and Blaine will handle our duet, and for the showstopper we're doing 'Gangnam Style'." Finn grins at us.

I suddenly laugh so hard. Finn jokes is stupid. But I stop my laugh as I see Finn's face is kinda weird and the others just frowns at Finn.

"Wait, seriously?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Okay, lumps, let me just say out loud what everyone here is thinking: You finally got an okay haircut, you're not doing that annoying half smirk as much as you used to, but you're still a idiot." Santana says to Finn. "No one in this room can tackle a massive dance number except for Brit.

That includes your little 'Hand-Jive' that, to me, looked more like a hand..." Santana lower her voice.

"Hand jive become hand job? That's bad." I simply said.

"Thanks for make it clear, E." Santana says to me.

"Is there any way Mr. Schue can come back for this?" Joe asks.

"Listen to me, we have never lost sectionals before, and there's no way we're gonna do it under my watch. We can and we will succeed! We need an ambitious number with a strong dance element. That's the Warbler's calling card, and we need to blow them out of the water. And Mike said he could easily show one of our guys how to do the dance number." Finn says and pointed at Mike.

"I did?" Mike raises his eyebrows.

"Crap. I, uh, I kind of forgot to ask you about that." Finn says.

"But one of our guys is gonna have to take the lead with Brit." Mike says to Finn.

"So who's it gonna be?" Tina asks.

"Hello? White Chocolate." Sam points at himself and start dancing with his number one moves.

"Oh, no, no, no." I shake my head. "The stupid clown isnt the judges this time and you cant use a white chocolate stripper dance for the dance move." I said to Finn.

"That was rude." Sam says.

"You're welcome." I simply said. "I guess, that Tanner Puckerman can do that."

"Me? My name is Jake." Puck's brother raises his eyebrows.

"Yes, you, tanner." I nodded.

"To make it fair. Mike will choose the one of the best for the dance duet with Brittany. So all the boys now go to the auditiorium and do the dance." Finn says to us. "Girls, you do the choreography with Brittany and dont forget the costume." Finn says to us and walks off with the boys.

"I already prepare for the costume clothes and since you cant sew, I'll sew but you just need to help me with cutting and anything." Tina says to me.

"I guess costume duty will be fine as long as I dont sew." I giggle.

"Alright come on." Tina takes my hand and walks led me.

"Okay..." I said and follow her.

"How was your show in Wynwood? Mike told me only some few best dancer can get into Wynwood." Tina says to me.

"It was incredible and amazing. I never think I can get into Wynwood. But I'm sad because I cant watch your Grease show." I said to Tina.

"Yeah I got a play as Jan when actually I dont want to play because I dont want to see Mike but everything is fine now." Tina smiles at me.

"So you both get back together?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Nope but we built a good friendship. I though that breaking up isnt good and we can continue have our long distance relationship. I'm sorry about what happened to you and Sam." Tina half-smiled at me.

"That's fine. We moved on. I dated someone else and he dates someone else." I smile at Tina.

Actually it's not good at all because I dont want to see any flirtationship between Sam and any other girls but Brittany is my bestfriend and I'll be happy if I see her happy.

"So here the clothes for the dress and boys vest." Tina says as she take some roll of clothes and costume from the back of the auditorium. "Boys will help us to bring the sewing machine to the choir room." Tina says to me.

I just nodded and trying to take those roll clothes but it was heavy and fall down back to the ground.

"Need a help?" A brunette guy with Justin Bieber hair smiles at me.

"No, I'm fine." I shake my head.

"It's not fine. Come on, let me help you." He said and take those roll clothes until we walk together and passed Sam who glares at us. "I'm Ryder Lynn, by the way."

"Emily Hudson." I smile at him.

"I already know you." Ryder giggles and place those rolls clothes on the ground of choir room.

"Thank you so much, brunette bieber." I giggle.

"You're welcome." He smiles back at me and walks off.

Sam's POV

I went out from boys locker room and bring my bagpack to the auditorium for the dance rehearsal with the boys.

It's glad to see Emily is here but the way she looked at me is different. I dont know it's either jealous or mad or something. But the fact that I'm happy she is here.

"Be cool, Sam." Blaine says to me.

"I know I'm trying to." I sigh.

We keep walking in the hallways until we enter the auditorium and I see Ryder and Emily are smiling at each other and Ryder help her with bring those roll clothes for the costume.

I just look at them as they walk passed me. I guess that Ryder really show me that he really want to take Emily away from me especially when he already met her. Great everything will be gone.

"What the hell." I mumbled.

"You cant mad because Emily is not your girlfriend anymore and here you date Brittany." Blaine reminds me.

"I know that." I let out a sigh.

"Alright everybody lets start this." Finn says to us.

I let out a sigh and follow Mike leads until Ryder running here.

Emily's POV

"That's not a gangnam style but morely like a horse style." Santana frowns.

I didnt say anything and looking at these kids having rehearsal for the sectionals in auditorium besides that this year sectionals will be held in McKinley.

"Listen girls, the one who can make the Warblers win is you because they dont have any feminism girl." Santana says to them.

"Yeah they are bunch of gays in a show choir." I added.

"Excuse me, but not all of them are gay." Blaine protest.

"But mostly they are." I said to Blaine. "Okay, look. Gangnam style is a hard thing to do okay." I turn my face at Finn.

"We dont have any time to change." Finn shake his hand.

"But they look a bunch of people without any power or CPR to goes on." Puck says to Finn.

"Alright everybody take five." Mike says to them.

They let out a sigh and sit down on the stage. I just sit down on my seat and takes my phones and texting with Sean to keep distracting me.

"Can you help me to choose who is the best guy for the front guy dance with Brittany?" Mike whisper at me.

"Gangnam Style is so much different with what I learn in Juilliard, Mike." I frown at Mike.

"I know even I didnt learn. Tina can handle the song but this choreography they cant. And Finn give me a responsibility for this." Mike sighs.

I rub Mike's back to comfort him. "I'll help you. We can combine gangam style with ballet." I smile at Mike.

"How?" Mike raises his eyebrows at me.

"We both take lessons in ballet school, Mike." I grin at Mike.

"Then?" Mike frowns.

I take Mike's hand and walk to the stage. We are standing on the front of them.

"Listen everyone. We know that you are tired. All of you but right now Mike and I have an announcement." I said to them.

"What? Dude, we already make a deal that Hudson will go back into Puckerman's zone." Puck frowns at us.

"I have a boyfriend in New York, Puck." I roll my eyes. "I know that this is kinda hard for you to do. Especially to do some dance number from foreign country."

"Yeah and for now lets combine it with ballet and little bit modern dance." Mike says.

"But how?" Ryder asks.

"Mike and I went to dance school and we both learn about dance. Besides that I usually spent five hours in Juilliard dance studio alone for dancing." I said to them.

"Just watch us and you can join us." Mike says to them.

I walk to the tape and play the music. Mike standing behind me and take my hand. Glad that I'm wearing my dance clothes and it's makes me easy to move. "Start from the mini tango, okay." I said to Mike.

"Alright." Mike nodded.

The music begin. Mike and I start dancing together in pair.

Mike and I ended up our dance with full of clapping and cheering from the others. Mike and I just hugging at each other and smiling at each other.

"I think we got the front man lead." Mike grins at me.

"Well, tanner puckerman, you are the front man lead." I said to them and points at Jake.

"Me?" Jake raises his eyebrows.

"Yeah your moves was great." I said to Jake.

"It's kind of embarassing to admit but I take a lesson in one of ballet studio but thanks." Jake smiles.

"Alright everyone. We got our front man lead and we will continue the rehearsal tomorrow." Finn says to them.

They take their stuff and walk off from the auditorium. I take my bagpack and drink my water. Been two days here but neither of Sam nor I talk to each other.

I'm dancing in McKinley dance studio. I've been spending one hour here since I dont find any dance studio in Lima and it's sucks.

I just need to find a distraction for this. The alumni come to McKinley every day until the sectionals and I cant stand stench every day seeing Sam especially when he has to with Brittany who is my bestfriend.

Suddenly someone show up from the door and it's shocked me when I looked at the mirror and there is someone behind me.

"You shocked me." I said to Sam and turn off my iPod.

"You didnt show off at the rehearsal and I heard the music here so I came until I saw you here." Sam says.

"You guys can do rehearsal without me." I simply said.

"You were trying to find a distraction? But from what?" Sam raises his eyebrows at me.

"Doesnt matter. I'm just practicing for my next show." I simply said to him and take my bagpack.

"I know you so bad. You cant lie to me." Sam says to me.

"And why do you care?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Because I-I care about you. I know you were trying to find a distraction from me." Sam says.

"Why you? I didnt try to find a distraction from you. Sam, look, we are over and the truth finally spoken. Just please stop this." I said to him and take my bagpack about to walk off.

Sam catches my hand when I walk right pass him. "What if I tell you that I love you?"

"Britt is my best friend and just dont hurt her." I push his hand away and walks off.

I walk off from that dance studio and left Sam who is still standing alone and completely frozen. I just dont understand why the hell he said that to me?

"You alright?" Puck suddenly walks next to me.

"It's just little boring with this life." I simply said.

"Is it because of Sam?"

I turn my face at him and frowns. "What do you mean?"

"The way he looked at you is still different and the way you looked at him also the same. I didnt mean to get into your problem but you guys shouldnt break up." Puck says to me.

"I was with someone else in New York. He came and before he came I kissed someone who become my boyfriend now. He also have an affair with Britt and now they are dating. I just can get through with this." I sigh.

"You're my ex but I love it when I see you happy with Sam." Puck smiles at me.

"Really? But you were jealous at first."

"At first yes, but I guess I'm in love with Quinn and I want her back into my life." Puck says.

"I can see that. The way you looked at her is different but as I know she is dating her proffesor." I said to Puck.

"Alright, I still have a chance to get closer with you right?" Puck smirks at me.

"Nope." I shake my head and laugh.

"Emily, I need you to help me with fitting the costume for the boys." Tina stops us and take my hand.

"I was trying to get her back okay." Puck rolls his eyes.

I just giggle and walk follow Tina to the choir room. Yeah costume duty. My job and I dont like that. I didnt hate it but I dont understand with these costume things.

We then enter the choir room. I place my bagpack on a seat and start arranging the boys costume with Tina. Yeah she took the big part on this.

The boys finally walks in. Tina give the costume one by one to them and they to behind the curtain.

"If it's bigger or smaller tell us." Tina shouts.

"Can I get another tie? I cant wear this tie." Ryder says to us.

"I cant find the another one that easier to use, sorry Ryder." Tina says to Ryder.

"Here, let me help you with this." I said and walks to Ryder and fix his tie. "You like Finn who cant fix this by himself." I giggle.

"Thank you." Ryder smiles at me.

"It's okay. It's perfect now." I smile back at him and button his vest.

Ryder just smile at me. I walk a little bit further than these boys and look at to his costume until my eyes meet Sam's gaze and he look jealous with the things I did to Ryder well I dont care with that.

"I guess, I need a smaller vest. It's really look big on me." Blaine says.

"Let me see." Tina says and walks closer to Blaine.

"This costume looks cool on me." Joe says as he is standing in front of the mirror.

"Well, thank Tina because she is the one who sew this not me." I said to Joe.

"I remember before nationals when I have to help Tina with the costume duty along with Sugar and Rory." Joe says.

"I miss that Irish boy." I sigh.

"Junior year was the best but now I havent found any interesting thing for my senior year." Tina says.

"You just started it about few months ago, Tina." Blaine says to Tina.

"Sorry guys, I've been working on something with Finn." Artie wheels in with Finn.

"Yours." I give the costume to Artie.

"How it is goes?" Finn asks.

"Everything is fine." Tina answer.

"Alright, I trust that you both can handle this." Finn says to me and Tina.

"Maybe you dont have to rush, you could leave a toothbrush at my place, at my place." I'm singing then laughs.

The others just look at me and frowns. I turn my face at them and they look at me with weird look.

"What did you say?" Finn frowns at me.

"I was singing. Oh come on, if Sean were here he might be already throw a bottle to my head because I cant stop singing that song in front of him." I chuckle.

"Guys, can you back to the auditorium for rehearsing the choreography?" Mike walks in.

The boys takes their costume and went out from the choir room. Ryder keep smiling at me until he walks off from the choir room. I dont know but this guy seems weird.

"I'm curious with your Sean looks like." Tina chuckles as she is sewing Blaine's vest.

"He is handsome, kinda hot one, and the one who can understand me. You will meet him one day." I giggle at Tina.

"Sounds amazing." Tina giggles.

"I know that." I smile at her and go back arrange the costume stuff.

I turn my face to the door and see Sam is standing there with his sad face. I just half-smiled at him then turn my face away from him. No, Emily, you moved on and you have Sean with you.
