Chapter 37

One day before the Sadie Hawkins dance. Yes tomorrow is Sadie Hawkins and Blaine didnt answer me yet or I guess that he doesnt want to go.

I remember something now. Kurt once told me that Blaine ever got bullied Sadie Hawkins dance because he asked a guy to dance and now I guess I will go to that dance alone.

I know I'm not a student of McKinley anymore but I'm alumnus and coach Beister said thad I'm still a part of McKinley and I guess I can go. I will have a lot of fun there.

Now I'm standing in front of someone's locker and reading this HGH book. Blaine, Sam, and I still trying to find a strong evidence for to get glee club back.

"Excuse me but you're standing in front of my locker." Ryder smiles at me.

"Uh I'm so sorry." I half-smiled at him and move my body.

"What are you reading at?" Ryder asks me.

"A HGH book. Sam and I got it online so we decided to buy it from ebay. It's science." I said to Ryder.

"You and Sam got back together?"

"I'm still have my boyfriend in New York." I simply said.

"You already decided who will go with you to the Sawdie Hawkins dance?" Ryder asks me.

"I will go with Blaine." I grin at him.

"E, I found something also some references." Sam suddenly walks to me. "Hey, dude already got a chick for Sadie Hawkins?" Sam turns his face at Ryder.

"A cheerio asked me. But I havent answer her yet because I'm waiting for someone actually." Ryder says and turns his face at me.

I just raise my eyebrows and look at Sam little bit. He just frowns at Ryder. Ugh God, what am I supposed to do here? I let out a sigh and close my book.

"You said that you have some new proof right? Come on, I want to see that." I said to Sam.

"Alright, let's go!" Sam takes my hand and walks lead me.

"I'll see you around, Ryder." I smile at Ryder and wave him a goodbye.

"See you." Ryder wave me a goodbye.

Ryder's POV

"I will go with Blaine." Emily grin at me.

I just smile at her. Well that's better than she go with any other guy when actually I really want to go with her.

"E, I found something also some references." Sam suddenly interupts us. "Hey, dude already got a chick for Sadie Hawkins?" Sam turns his face at me.

"A cheerio asked me. But I havent answer her yet because I'm waiting for someone actually." I said to him and look at Emily.

She just turn his face at Sam. Sam glares at me and I glare back at him. Your glare wont make me down, dude.

"You said that you have some new proof right? Come on, I want to see that." Emily said to Sam.

"Alright, let's go!" Sam takes her hand and walks lead her and still glares at me.

"I'll see you around, Ryder." Emily smiles at me and wave me a goodbye while she is walking behind Sam.

"See you." I wave her a goodbye.

I can see clearly that Sam was trying to warn me to back off. But who the hell is he? He is not Emily's boyfriend anymore even though I know that he is still in love with her.

No, I wont back off that easily. She is different. She is innocent and smart. Besides that she is funny and just like the others told me about her.

It was only a stupid joke when I said that I wanna meet her. But the time when I met her I can see that she is more beautiful than on her photos and I like her.

I wont back off and I will get her into my arm. Sam wont make me down.

Emily's POV

I'm sitting down on the table in science classroom as Sam is trying to explain me what he got for the proof to beat the Warblers.

"Emily, are you listening to me?" Sam frowns at me.

"Uh w-what? I'm sorry my mind was wandering." I said to him.

"You can tell me something if you want." Sam raises his eyebrows at me.

"It's just...."

"Your lips chapped. You're freezing?" Sam cut me off.

"Ugh no." I shake my head.

"You can lie to anyone else but you cant lie to me and God." Sam says and take off his beanie hat.

I just raise my eyebrows and he is walking closer to me until he wear me his beanie hat on my head. God, why is this happening?

"Feel a little bit warm now?" Sam asks me.

"Yeah. Thank you." I half-smile at him.

Sam just smiles at me. I keep looking at him. Looking at his beautiful green eyes. I felt something wrong with me and I know that I shouldnt be in this room only with him.

Sam's smiles turns into a deep look. We still looking at each other deeply until Sam walk closer to me and still looking at me. I'm still looking at him and I feel his breath through my skin.

He pushes his face closer to me and I push my face closer to him. I know this thing will happen. We keep pushing our face closer to each other as want to share a kiss. I miss him. I cant deny it.

"Guys! I found something!" Blaine suddenly walks in.

Sam and I just pretend like we are doing nothing. I turn my face to look around and Sam just strech the back of his neck.

"What?" Blaine frowns at us.

"N-Nothing." I giggle. "What did you found?" I ask Blaine.

"Joe and Artie went to Lima Bean and they got this." Blaine says and shows us a video.

"Isnt that Hunter Clarrington?" Sam asks.

"Yes he is." Blaine nodded.

"Terrible. This is what they call classy attitude? Classy attitude is like when a man can walk like a model and show off some abs and you can get any type of chicks you want." Sam grins.

"But the fact that you're single okay. So just shut up." Blaine rolls his eyes.

"You too, dude." Sam rolls his eyes.

"I'm mingle." I simply said.

"Mingle?" Blaine frowns.

"A joke that I made. I know that's not funny okay keep going." I sigh.

"Mingle? Hold up, it's like ever heard that word." Sam frowns.

"Mingle means to be together, Sam." Blaine rolls his eyes.

"We go together like rama lama lama ka dinga da dinga dong." I'm singing.

"Remembered forever as shoo-bop sha wadda wadda yippity boom de boom. chang chang changitty chang sha-bop That's the way it should be wah-oooh, yeah!" Sam and I dancing and singing together then laugh.

"Can you both be serious one time?" Blaine yells.

"Dude, you should watch that scene when Max and Duke eat the whole sausage in sausage factory." Sam says to Blaine.

"I ever record that scene." I said to Blaine.

"Wap bap wap lu bop!" Sam shouts.

"A wap bam boom!" Sam and I shout together.

"Stop it!!!!" Blaine yells.

Sam and I just being quiet together and looking at each other. Blaine must be mad because of the stupid crazy thing that Sam and I made.

"I punish you both, finish this problem before Christmas." Blaine give us his iPad and some books then walks off.

"Is he mad at us?" I ask Sam.

Sam just shrugs. "We will be in the trouble if we dont finish this. He is a danger man just like pregnant woman." Sam says.

I cant handle it and laugh so hard until Sam just frowns at me then he grins at me. I really feel like myself is back. I mean only around Sam I can be whoever I want, and expose my crazyness thing and laughing together with him besides that since we broke up, nobody can make me laugh so hard like he did.

Ryder's POV

I'm sitting down on the round table in cafetaria and have lunch together with the others glee club members. I look around and hope that I could find Emily around here and ask her to have a lunch with me.

"Do you excited with the Sadie Hawkins tomorrow?" Sugar asks Tina.

"I already prepare everything perfectly." Tina smiles happily.

"I saw the Gymnasium and the decoration is cool." Joe says.

"Dude, who will you go there with?" Artie asks Joe.

"Nobody since nobody asks me. So I will have fun." Joe grins.

"That would be boring." I said to Joe.

"Hey guys, anyone already heard that Blaine, Sam, and Emily are trying to make the glee club back because they feel something strange with The Warblers." Brittany sit down joined us.

"Blaine already told me." Tina simply said.

"That's cool." Joe says.

"If Emily become one of their part everything will be clear. Her brain is like a Sherlock Holmes." Artie says.

"You mean the detective?" Marley frowns.

"Yeah, she loves playing with the detective thing." Artie nodded as agree.

All of sudden, Blaine walks in join us and hold a bag of potato chips then let out a sigh.

"How does it go?" Tina asks Blaine.

"I punish Sam and Emily to finish this and left them in science classroom." Blaine sighs.

"Wohoo Sam must be glad with that." Artie giggles.

"What happened?" Sugar asks.

"They cant stop doing their crazyness thing together. I mean, I was about to show them about the video Joe gave me and they start making jokes and then sang a song in animated voice then laughed together. This is a serious case and they made it like a jokes." Blaine says to us.

"Blaine, you just envy with them." Tina chuckles.

"What do you mean, Tina?" Blaine raises his eyebrows at Tina.

"You miss Kurt. Then you saw the romance between Emily and Sam around you when you were there alone. That's it. You're just empty and miss love." Tina says to Blaine.

"I guess so. Because when I came, they were like about to kiss or something." Blaine says.

I suddenly get choke when I heard that. I take my drink and pretend like everything is fine. So Sam really already get her back?

"But they were cute couple. I was really sad when they have to broke up." Sugar says.

"Emily is my bestfriend and she is become happier when she is with Sam. They both can be crazy together." Brittany says.

"But you were dating Sam before." Tina frowns at Brittany.

"Sorry not sorry that was fake. Sam and I just make a ultimatum especially when the alumni came here so we can make Emily and Santana jealous and the fact it was working." Brittany says.

"I think you should go back to that classroom before they start to burn this school." Joe says to Blaine.

"No, they can be crazy together but they are really smart and I needed them." Blaine shakes his head.

I hate this convo. Everyone talked about how cute the relationship between Emily and Sam. But no I wont back off. I'm still want to fight to get her.

Emily's POV

"Every each The Warblers member get ten pounds muscle for a year." Sam says as he read a book and walk go back and forth.

"Can you sit down? Or lend me an iPod? I cant read this book and concentrate." I roll my eyes.

"No, I found something. Read this. A kind of drug to gain HGH faster." Sam says to me and shows me a book.

"But what the connection with the splenda?" I raise my eyebrows.

"I havent found that." Sam says and go back read that book.

I take the iPad Blaine left and play that video again and again. We already got some proof but it isnt enough.

"I got!" I suddenly yells.

"Dont shocked me!" Sam rolls his eyes.

"I got the connection between Splenda and these. HGH cant take Splenda because it's non organic. You know that when inorganic chemistry meet inorganic chemistry they cant be mix because one of these inorganic chemistry must be kill the other one. And that's why he really want brown Sugar because brown sugar is pure organic." I said to Sam.

"Yeah that can be other proof." Sam nodded.

"And about that HGH things, we really need someone to claim that because our claim online video transformation cant make a strong evidence." I said to Sam.

"Hold up, hold up, you know the roundfaced warbler?" Sam asks me.

"Yes, the chubby bear one. I dont know his name but he is looks like teddy bear." I said to Sam.

"Dont you realize that he wasnt there when the sectionals? Then where is he?" Sam raises his eyebrows at me.

"There was no fat or chubby guy when The Warblers perform. And they do something like they never do before also they become more energic. Dont you think?" I raise my eyebrows at Sam.

"That's it! HGH can make people become more energic." Sam says to me.

"Somatropin!" Sam and I yelled together.

"They used somatropin. It is one of the prescription drug to grow hormones but it's not legal without any intructions from doctor or pharmacy! Bam! We got this!" I said happily.

"Yes! We did it!" Sam says happily.

"Sam, dont you realize that we already five minutes late for the glee club?" I raise my eyebrows at Sam.

"Damn!" Sam mumbled. "Alright we better go!"

Sam take all these books and I hold Blaine's iPad. Sam takes my hand and make a little run lead me. This is kinda fun. I never been happier like this since I moved to New York and I really feel like my life is back.

Sam and I keep running in the hallways until we turn our way to Spanish classroom and the others already there.

We both enter the that classroom with let out a sigh because we run from the second floor to the first floor.

"Where have you been?" Finn frowns at me.

"Got a punishment from Blaine because of a soundtrack from animated movie." I said to Finn.

"I wont take the punishment before you both find something." Blaine says.

"Actually we are here because we found something. And that's why we late." Sam says to them.

"Do you guys already find the evidence?" Finn asks.

"First of all, I want to tell that each member of The Warblers gain two pounds of their muscle for a month and this thing is called HGH or Human Growth Hormones." Sam says to them.

"And according to this book as our references, we already make the transformation face video for each member. Lights!" I said and connects Sam's laptop to the screen.

"Look at them. There is something strange with their face. They also use the HGH to gain more energy during the performance on sectionals." Sam says to them.

"That's not a really strong evidence." Tina says.

"Well, we knows what kind of the drug the used to gain more energy." Sam says.

"They used somatropin to gain more energy and those muscle." Sam says.

"Is there any rules that a show choir cant use a drug?" Finn asks.

Sam give me the book of show choir championship rules and I read that. "Look, chapter seven, subsection 16, rule four, line nine. 'Any team using performance enhancing drugs, including amphetamines, anabolic steroid, human growth hormone or Four Loko will be automatically disqualified from competition'." I said to them.

"The rule is retroactive, so if we can prove that they used at Sectionals, they'll have to forfeit and we'll win." Sam says.

"Glee Club is back!" Sam and I hi-five.

"I-I just left you both for about two hours and you guys got so many evidence." Blaine chuckles.

Suddenly a warbler with chubby and roundfaced that Sam and I been talking about walks in.

"Me." He said.

"I knew when Trent didn't perform with the Warblers at Sectionals that something was up." Blaine says.

"So your name is Trent? Hi! I'm Emily! I really wanna bring you home and make you as my big teddy bear." I grin at Trent.

"i***t!" Sam cover my whole face with his hand.

I roll my eyes and bite his hand and makes him groan. I pouted at Sam and cross my hand on my chest but Sam put his hand around my waist.

"Yeah, he is kind of like the sunshine of the group, isn't he?" Finn says.

"Blaine and I joined the Warblers together.

It was a band of brothers, a group joined by harmony and honor. And then Blaine left and Sebastian came, then Hunter..." Trent says.

"They just chipped away at everything that was good and special about us." Blaine says.

"Winning was everything. I mean, you took the shots or you didn't perform. Singing with the Warblers is my life, but I couldn't do it. My hormones can't handle heroic doses of testosterone. I don't even shave yet. The Warblers mean everything to me, and it's killing me to betray them like this." Trent says.

"You're not betraying them. Hunter betrayed the Warblers, you're saving them." Blaine says to him.

"Yeah, that's what they said about Brutus.

And Cassius." Trent says. "Look, if I go public with this, then the Warblers' reputation it's ruined forever. Years of honorable melodies and harmonies, all forgotten."

"Look, the Warblers' reputation was ruined the second they decided to cheat to win." Blaine says.

"Fact." Sam nodded as agree.

"So, what do you say? Will you do this? Will you testify against the Warblers?" Finn asks Trent.

"For Blaine, and my friends there who doesnt know anything. I will. This is for the best and The Warblers will get their reputation again." Trent smiles.

"Yeaaah!!!" We are cheering happily.

"Let's go to the show choir championship comittee and get our glee club back!" Finn says happily.

"Is he gay?" I whisper at Sam.

"I dont know. But maybe. But he is such a cute gay. I just wanna pinch his cheeks and hug him while I sleep." Sam whisper back at me.

"Stripper." I roll my eyes.

Finn, Trent, and Blaine walks off from this classroom and the others follow them.

"Come on, overbrows." Sam takes my hand and walks lead me.

"You call me what? Oh you're trying to insult me? You cant, Evans. Because I've been in cheerios for four years and Santana Lopez is my bestfriend." I chuckle.

"Hello Soul Sister, aint that mister on the radio? Stereo?" Sam makes an impression of Yoda.

I laugh so hard through that. I even have to stop my way and hold my belly because of his impression. "You make me got stomachache." I laugh.

Sam just giggles and go back take my hand. "I bet you never laugh like that in front of anyone except me." Sam giggles.

"Sam..." I pull his hand and stop my way.

"What?" Sam turns his face at me.

"Would you go to the Sadie Hawkins dance with me?"

"I'd love to but I bet with Blaine who will you ask to the Sadie Hawkins is it me or Ryder and because you asked me which mean I won but after all these things I dont wanna win my bet with Blaine. If you really ask me and my answer would be yes, it would be an honor and I dont...."

I place my finger on his lips to make him stop talking. "Stop talking. We can go as friends, I trust you because you are a trustful one and thank you." I smile at him.

Sam just smiles back at me. "You're welcome."

"This conspiracy things makes me hungry besides that we skipped lunch. You wanna have lunch with me?" I ask him.

"Sure." Sam nodded and takes my hand.

"And remember we are not getting back together because I have a boyfriend." I said as we walk together.

"I know that." Sam rolls his eyes.

I just giggle and we keep walking as we holding hand each other. I dont know but I feel like my life is back. How many times I have to say that I've never been happier than today and I feel like my life is really back.

"Why you wanna be here when you said that you were hungry?" Sam asks as I climb the house tree.

"I miss this place." I simply said and get into that house tree.

I look around and everything is still look the same even the sign is still here. The sign that Sam made with a marker and wrote 'Valentines Day 2012, Emily and Sam first date'

"I will bring food here okay. Be right back." Sam shouts.

Today is so strange. I bring those my memory back with Sam. I'm happy, really happy especially since I'm back home for Sadie Hawkins, Christmas, and help the glee club. I dont even remember that I have a boyfriend in New York because today I feel so different.

First, I guess that I'm still in love with Sam. And I made Sean as my distraction. God, but this is complicated. I shouldnt do that to Sean.

I let out a sigh and turn my face to a wooden wall and see a line wrote 'I love you so much, Emily'. I'm just smiling looking at that line. I take a pen marker from my bag and write something there.

"Here I got mac n cheese and a thermos of hot chocolate." Sam get in. "You know that it's cold outside and really cold but you wanna stay here when we can stay in my room and it's really warm." Sam says to me.

"I can handle that." I said to him.

"No, you cant. You know that your lips will be chap and your nose will getting red when you're freezing?" Sam raises his eyebrows at me.

"Glad that New York is kinda hot." I giggle.

"Eat this. I know you're hungry." Sam says to me and give the bowl to me.

"You dont want to eat?" I ask Sam.

"I got ton breakfast this morning." Sam shakes his head.

"Liar." I simply said. "You're hungry. I know that." I said to Sam and want to feed him. "Open your mouth."

"Eating from someone's hand is always tasty." Sam giggles.

"You're hungry. You cant lie to me, Evans." I giggle.

"You didnt tell me why you dont wanna ask Ryder for the Sadie Hawkins." Sam says to me.

"I dont want to. Besides that I think he is too young for me and I dont like him." I said to Sam.

"But he likes you." Sam says to me.

"I know that but my hearts know the one she likes. That's why I always trying to keep a distance between me and him because I dont want make him hope and think that I like him too but actually I dont." I sigh.

"One advice for you, dont be really amazing to be a girl. You're too amazing and the most amazing one that I've ever met so that's why..." Sam chuckles.

"So you think this is my fault?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Not really but I guess so." Sam chuckles.

"Sam, I guess, we shouldnt break up that day."

"Since the first time you got back home I already think the same things but everything messed up and what can we do? Nothing. Just stay be like this." Sam half-smiled at me.

"You're like a guy who looks so desperate in love." I laugh.

"I did?" Sam laughs and raises his eyebrows.

I just nodded and laugh while eating this mac n cheese. Sam points at my chin. I raise my eyebrows at him and touch my chin.

"The cheese." Sam says and rubs my chin.

I completely silent and looking at him. Sam rubs my chin and looking at me deeply until he pulls my face closer to him and he cups my cheek and kisses me softly.

I place the bowl next to me and put my hand around his shoulder and kiss him back. I'm sorry, Sean, I guess that I just made you as my distraction from breaking up with Sam.

Sam and I pull our lips each other and looking at each other. "I miss you like crazy." Sam looking at me deeply.

"I've been missing you." I smile at him and rub his cheek.

"Tell me that we are not getting back together because I feel like I would never let you go again." Sam holds my hand.

"We are not getting back together, Sam." I shake my head and smile at him.

"Great so I can take a nap here." Sam says and lay his body.

"Not make sense." I roll my eyes.

"It's cold and I need my teddy bear hug." Sam grins at me.

"I'm not your teddy bear." I simply said.

"Oh come on, who doesnt miss cuddling with me?" Sam smirks at me and pull my hand.

"I didnt. Maybe your other ex like Quinn or Mercedes." I said to Sam.

"Dont be so cool okay." Sam pulls my hand.

I let out a sigh and lay my body next to him. Sam grins at me and hugs me really tight.

"I cant breath!" I push his body away. "You want to hug me or kill me?" I pouted at him and sit up.

"I'm sorry. I just wanna hug you so tight." Sam says to me.

"But what if I die here? There will be a headline: The most beautiful girl in this world named Emily Hudson died because of cuddling with a blonde stripper in a house tree."

Sam laughs so hard. "The what? Most beautiful girl in this world? Who says?" Sam laughs and raises his eyebrows at me.

"My mom, Finn, and me." I simply said.

"Haha you're funny. Come here I promise I will make you can breath okay." Sam pulls my hand.

"I dont wanna die here."

"You wont. I wont bite you or anything." Sam says to me.

I let out a sigh and lean my body next to him. Sam hugs me from behind and then kisses my cheek. He flip his feet with my feet and he really makes me as his pillow.

I just wrap his hand and close my eyes. No one in this world have a warm hug like Sam has. His hug is always be the most warm hug ever.
