Chapter 38

Sadie Hawkins

"Where are you going to?" Finn asks me as I went out from the wardrobe wearing my dress.

"Sadie Hawkins." I grin at Finn.

"With Blaine? Because I will go as teacher not a student." Finn says to me.

"With Sam." I giggle.

"What? You both getting back together or something? But you didnt tell me that you broke up with Sean." Finn says to me.

"I didnt break up with Sean. You can say that I'm cheating. I just wanna be happy and Sam bring my life back, Finn. I realize that only him is the one who can make me laugh so hard and be myself. I never been so happier like these days I went back home." I sit down on the edge of my bed.

"As long as you're happy, I'll be happy too." Finn says as he takes his suit.

"I guess, I made Sean as a distraction from breaking up with Sam. I dont know but I dont feel like I miss him the way I miss Sam." I sigh.

"You and Sam were made for each other." Finn smiles at me.

I just chuckle. And put a little make up on my face in front of the vanity mirror.

"Alright, I have to do something and end this glee club problem so I have to go. Sam will pick you up right?" Finn asks me.

"Yes, it's supposed to be me who pick him up but he refused it so he will pick me up. Good luck with your things. I'll make sure that New Directions will be back." I smile at Finn.

"Thank you. I'll come to Sadie Hawkins after I finish my things." Finn kisses my head and walks off.

I fix my hair and my make up and waiting for Sam pick me up. I wear a black dress without sleeves and black high heels. I let my head down and only put a hair clip on my hair.

It's kinda excited to have a Sadie Hawkins with Sam. It's like I'm in love with him again like the first time.

"Sweety, someone is looking for you." Burt yells from downstairs.

I take look myself on the mirror and everything is perfect. "Bye bye, Junior. Have fun with your pillow." I chuckle and walk off from my room.

I walk downstairs to meet Sam. I just hope that I'm looking good tonight. I walk to enter the living room and Sam is sit down on a sofa looking at the tv.

"Whoa where are you going to?" Burt asks me as he watch tv in the living room.

"Sadie Hawkins dance." I giggle.

"You're not a student in McKinley anymore, Emily." Burt says.

"Dad, Finn came and I have to came besides that my dates tonight is Mr. Vuce President of McKinley." I said.

"Just make sure that no sleepover." Burt says to me.

"Yes, this is Sadie Hawkins in school not in a hotel. See you." I wave him a goodbye. "Just want to tell you that Seltics will lose." I said and walk out from my house.

"You look beautiful tonight." Sam smiles at me.

"You look nice." I smile back at him and get into his car.

Sam get into the car and start driving. "Your step-father was right, you're not a student of McKinley anymore."

"Okay stop right there, and I will go back home and sleeping with Junior." I simply said to Sam.

"Just kidding, overbrows." Sam laughs.

"Stripper." I roll my eyes.

"Only you who called me that." Sam says.

"Which mean that is special." I giggle.

"Special with double cheese." Sam says.

"Stupid." I chuckle.

Sam parks his car as we arrived in front of McKinley. I went out from his car. Sam takes my hand and we walk together to McKinkey Gymnasium.

We enter the McKinley Gymnasium. I gasped when I enter this place. The decoration of this place is really beautiful.

"This place is really beautiful." I said to Sam as I look around.

"Like you." Sam smiles at me.

"Sam, I dont like your cheesy words." I chuckle.

"You're coming!" Tina and Blaine smiles at us.

"So, your alternative way is choosing Sam." Blaine says to me.

"No, I was playing it cool." I chuckle.

"Well, come on." Blaine says to us amd walks lead us.

"What?" I raise my eyebrows at Sam.

"Special performance from the boys." Sam grins at me as we walk together closer to stage.

"What's up, McKinley? We've got quite the set. We'd like to dedicate this song to all the strong, proud and empowered ladies who stuck their necks out to make this happen.

This week, you showed us what it feels like to wait anxiously by the phone that never rings. The horror when all your friends get asked to the dance, and you don't, and you have to sit there...." Artie says from the stage.

"Stay here." Sam strokes my hair and walks to the stage.

"All right, cool. Thank you, Artie.

This next one's for all the, uh, powerful women out there." Blaine says from the microphone.

The music begin. Sam, Artie, Joe, Blaine, and Ryder ready to sing a song on the stage. I'm dancing together with Brittany as watching their performance.

They ended up their performance with full of applauding and cheering from us here. Sam take his black suit back and wear it back until he blocks Ryder's way who is trying to dance with me.

"You're my date now and I wont something happened like last prom." Sam says to me.

"You still remember what happened with the last year prom?" I chuckle.

"Yeah it was sucks because I almost get into anti-prom club." Sam chuckles as we dancing together.

"Well, I almost go to the prom wearing a pajama." I chuckle.

"Just hope that no problem like that anymore in between us." Sam says to me.

"And that guy is here." I said to Sam and turns my face at Puck and Kitty.

"What's up, dude?" Puck greets Sam as he is dancing with Kitty.

"I though you went back to LA, Puck." I said to Puck.

"I was looking for my screenplay until someone asked me to come here." Puck grins at us.

"We better go back into the backseat of my car and having each other than you dance like you wanna break your legs." Kitty says to Puck and take his tie and walks lead him.

"You dont want to say something like that? Go back into the backseat of my car and having each other?" Sam raises his eyebrows at me.

"They want to have a quickie, Sam and I dont want it." I said to Sam and put my hand around his shoulder.

"What do you want?" Sam asks as he hold my waist and the slow music begin.

"Dancing with you." I smile at him.

"You got me, baby!" Sam makes an impression.

I just laugh at him and pull my body closer to him. "We are not getting back together, Sam."

"Just keep saying that." Sam says.

We are hugging each other and doing this slow dance. I dont want to leave Sam's body. I dont want this to end. I know that I'm cheating on Sean with Sam.

"I guess, I should tell Sean about us." I said as we keep dancing.

"I'm afraid that he will kill me if you tell him the truth."

"You got my back, Sam." I smile at Sam.

"Remember that we are not getting back together." Sam smiles back at me.

I'm smiling at him as I'm still put my hand around his shoulder and he hold my waist. Sam smiling at me and push his face closer to me and about to kiss me.

"Do you mind if I kiss you in public like this?" Sam asks me.

"We are not doing that fake dating things. No rules." I said to Sam. "Besides that everyone is busy with their own love."

Sam smirks at me and push his face closer to me and kisses me softly. We stop moving our body and share a kiss as the slow music is still begin.

"Your lips taste chocolate." I giggle.

"Got a chocolate lipbalm from Blaine and I told him you like it so he gave me." Sam grins at me.

"I like it because chocolate is sweet just like you." Sam giggles.

"That's gross." I chuckle.

"Sam, we have to go." Blaine interupts us.

I roll my eyes. "Can you just stop disturb Sam and I moment?" I said to Blaine.

"I'm sorry, but this is emergency." Blaine says to me.

"I have to go, I promise I'll back okay." Sam kisses my forehead and walks off with Blaine.

I'm just standing there alone and cross my hand on my chest.

"You can dance with us if you want." Brittany says as she is dancing with Artie.

"No." I shake my head and walk off from these crowded.

I walk to the corner and sit down on a round table alone. I'm looking for Finn but he is not here and he must be busy with his work.

One Hour Later

I stand up from my seat and walk to the drink corner. Sam really left me to somewhere I dont know and I'm stuck here alone.

I take a glass of drink and smell that but the taste not really good. I let out a sigh and take the cupcakes that really spark my eyes. I eat that but it's little bit bitter.

"Emily, I'm so sorry that was with the glee club." Sam walks to me.

"Everything was fine?" I ask Sam.

"Yeah. I ran here because I dont wanna miss my last chance to have slow dance with you." Sam says and takes my hand.

We walk to the middle. Sam put his hand around my waist and I put my hand around his shoulder and the slow music playing.

"Sam, something stuck in my mind actually."

"Tell me, what happened?"

"You were really dating with Brittany?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Fake dating to make you and Santana jealous. But dont worry I didnt fall in love with her and she just like my bestfriend." Sam says to me.

"Easy to guess." I chuckle.

"How you can guess that easily?" Sam raises his eyebrows at me.

"You cant acting. You cant pretend like you were dating Britt." I giggle.

"You're right and when I have my fake dating with you, I wasnt acting." Sam chuckles.

"I just wanna stay to dance like this with you." I pull my body closer to him.

"I would end the world only for this." Sam says.

I look at his face and he just smirks at me. I roll my eyes and give him a quick kiss on his lips. After that we go back to hugging each other as we are dancing together.

I'm walking in McKinley hallways and wearing my christmas hat. Yeah this is christmas week and everyone seems busy with the christmas thing.

I hold some music sheets with christmas song and walk to the history classroom. Yeah the evidence we got to beat the Warblers already sent to the show choir championship committee but we have to wait for the blood test and many things.

But one thing that I really believe is that New Directions will get their reputation back again and we will win regionals and go back to be nationals championship.

"If I was your boyfriend, I would be a gentleman." I'm singing as I walk into the history classroom. "Here as your order." I give the music sheets to Finn.

"Wait, arent we supposed to be have rehearsal in choir room?" Unique asks.

"We havent officially win. We still have to wait for the blood test from The Warblers member." Finn says to them.

"So for this week assignment is christmas!" I grin at them. They start applauding and cheering happily. "Actually, I have this christmas bash." I said to them and take Santa bag. "I already put your name inside this bag and you have to pick up one name but not your name and whoever you get, you have to give a christmas present for that person but dont tell that person so you have to keep a secret." I smile at them.

"It will be fun." Marley chuckles.

"Thr gift is up to you. So come and pick up your gift receiver." I said to them.

Marley came first and pick up a name. She close her eyes until she read that paper and smiling then go back to her seat.

"Next!" I said.

Artie wheel to the front and pick up a name. "I just hope that it will be someone that I already know what he/she want." Artie says and take a paper. "Yes! Thank you, cupid." Artie smiles at me.

"First of all I'm not a cupid anymore besides that this is not V-Day week but christmas week. Honestly, I really want to be Santa for this year christmas and do like what I did for V-Day but I'm not a McKinley student anymore so...." I said to them.

"But this is cool. I like it." Sugar smiles at me and pick up a name.

"You're welcome." I giggle.

"You're really helpful." Finn smiles at me.

Sam walks to the front and pick up a name. "I hope I got your name because I already know what I want to give to you." Sam grins at me.

"I didnt put Finn's and my name there. Sorry not sorry, Sam. Just give me three box of chocolate lucky charms and I'll be happy." I smirk at Sam.

"This is not V-Day so no chocolate." Sam simply said.

"Fine! Include no chocolate lipbalm." I cross my hands on my chest.

"Well everyone is done? One more assignment is you have to sing a song to someone that deserve your song as your christmas present." Finn says to them.

"Such a cool assignment." Artie nodded as agree.

"Well thank me, because this big guy only busy with playing video games all night long." I grin at them and roll my eyes at Finn.

"Better than cuddle with a blonde guy on the couch every day." Finn simply said.

Everyone is like 'aww' then smirks at Sam and me. Sam just pretend like nothing happened and he whistle. I roll my eyes and arrange the music sheets back to the paper case.

The bell rings

"Alright, see you guys tomorrow with a new glee club assignment." Finn says to them.

"Kids, Figgins called ya." Coach Beiste says from the door.

"Thank you coach." I said to her.

I take the paper case then went out from this classroom with Finn. I hope that this is will be good news and New Directions will be back.

Finn and I walk in enter Principal Figgins office. There are a guy from show choir committee and coach Sylvester there.

"This is Mr. Vascal. He is from Show Choir Championship committee." Principal Figgins says to us.

"We got your proof about The Warblers from Dalton Acamdemy cheated. We already do our investigation and the blood tested. According to all those evidence we got, The Warblers proven cheated and using Human Growth Hormones for sectionals and disqualified from the competitions. And by the judges result, New Directions win sectionals and can join Regionals in Indianapolis." Mr. Vascal says to us.

"Congratulations, Hudsons. New Directions is back and you can get your choir room back. Sue, give the key to them." Principal Figgins says.

Coach Sylvester throw the key to the table annoyingly. "They were lying about that. They manipulate the story." Coach Sylvester says and walks off from the principal Figgins office.

"Congratulations and this is the choir room key." Principal Figgins says and give the key to Finn.

"Congratulations, see you on regionals." Mr. Vascal smiles at us.

"Thank you so much." I smile back at them.

"Thank you." Finn smiles at them.

We then went out from Principal Figgins office. Finn and I smiling each other as Finn hold the key. Yeah New Directions is back! Our choir room is back!

"The truth is finally spoken." I giggle.

"I will never get this choir room back without you." Finn smiles at me.

"That was nothing, I just love being a detective." I giggle.

"Now think about how we get 400 bucks for the bus to regionals." Finn says.

"Baked sale? Or car wash?" I ask Finn.

"Car wash with sexy bikini. You wanna do that?" Finn asks me.

"Of course not." I shake my head.

"Okay bad idea. I choose baked sale." Finn says as he unlock the choir room. "Welcome back to New Directions's choir room. First order of business, arrange this choir room back like it used to."

"Aye-aye captain!" I giggle.

Finn and I start working to replace and throw all those cheerios things inside here. This choir room is belong to New Directions and no one can take our place away now.

"Alright fellas, who wanna start this week assignment?" I raise my eyebrows at them.

"It's glad to be back to the choir room and no one kick us out." Tina grins.

"No one can take our choir room away anymore." Finn says to them. "Alright, for this week assignment, who wanna sing a song?" Finn asks.

"Actually I've been planning something." Sam raises his hands.

"Take it away, Sam." Finn says to Sam.

Finn and I sit down on the front row and Sam walks to the front and ready to sing something.

Sam cant stop smirks at me. I raise my eyebrows at him and curious about what he is going to do and whom the song he present for.

"Emily, this one is for you." Sam smiles at me.

I raise my eyebrows until Sam points to the band and music start begin then he points to the door with cheerios with deer costumes walks in and dancing with him.

"Wow." I giggle.

"Yeaaayyy!" I'm clapping happily and stand up from my seat.

"Wow that was very moving, Sam." Finn smiles at Sam.

"Honestly, I have one more thing." Sam says and take a big box under the piano and give it to me.

"What is this?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Just open that." Sam simply said.

I open that box and see a white persian kitten inside this box. "Oh my gosh, she is really cute, Sam." I lift that cat and hold it.

"When you went to New York, Lady Junior was pregnant until she labour inside my wardrobe and there were five kittens actually but the others I gave to the pet care and I kept the cutest one for you. Honestly, I really want to give you a snow globe again but I'm afraid that you will cry again because right after I gave you snow globe last year, it broke." Sam half-smiled at me.

Awww thank you so much. This is really sweet." I giggle at Sam. "And you're so cute. I will bring you home and you will meet your lazy daddy that getting fatter each day. I'll thinking about your name later." I said to that kitten.

"That was quiet sweet for the christmas gift. But one more cat come into my life." Finn sighs. "Alright, anyone else?" Finn says to them.

Marley standing on the front and give a music sheet to the band. Finn go back to his seat and I'm still sitting down on my seat with holding this kitten.

Christmas Eve

Finn parks his car in front of the McKinley. I went out from his car and make a little run to the auditorium with Finn follows me.

These kids called us and said there was emergency here and we though there will be a problem here.

We enter the auditorium in hurry. Unti we see the kids are standing on the stage and smiling at us.

"Guys, what happened?" Finn asks them.

"We are sorry for that emergency calls. We are here because we have special number for you both." Tina says to us.

"According to this week glee club assignment about to sing a christmas song to someone who deserve our song. Last night, we discussed that you both deserve our song because without you, we wont get our glee club back or even our choir room. Thank you so much and please enjoy this performance." Marley smiles at us.

Finn and I just smiling at each other and having our hands each other and sit down on the audience seat together.

Marley with New Directions:

Snow fall down from the roof on the stage. I turn my face at Finn and he smiles at me. Finn takes my hand and walks lead me to that stage.

"Merry Christmas!" They said together.

I'm smiling happily and spread my arms as the snow still fall down. Then someone suddenly lift me up bridal style.

Sam smiling at me and lift me up. I smile back at him and spread my one arm as this snow still fall down from the roof and Sam make a round while he lift me up.

"This is the best christmas ever." I'm smiling at Sam.

"I know that." Sam smiles back at me and make our forehead touching.

I cant stop smiling. Seriously, this is the best christmas ever. Simple with unforgetable moment that I will never get twice.
