"Umm..Why do you ask, hmm?, asked Celestine with confusion.
"Umm... because... ummm... because I don't want to owe anything... from anyone. Uhh... I need to know your name so... so I can pay you.", the man answered stutterly then slowly get off his hand to Celestine
For goodness sake. Pay? but I'm not after his money or his wealth, if he's rich. If he wanted to repay my kindness, he just need to appreciate my help and tell "thank you" instead. Celestine thought while tapping the man's shoulder.
"I am Celestine Vergara. And.. I don't need your money. Just take care of yourself, okay? (sighs) Soon, I am going to be a nurse, so it is my duty and responsibility to help someone in need. If you wanted to repay me, a simple "thank you" will do and clean your mess as well", Celestine smiled sarcastically then walked out of the room.
Celestine rejected his offer. He would never thought about it. All he ever thought was when people help someone, they wanted something in return, specifically a tangible thing like money.
"(scoffed) What kind of a woman is she? Other woman wants jewelry, luxury cars, money or fame. But this woman.. (scoffed)", the man thought then suddenly smiled once again. "Hmm she's... different", then he get the broom and dustpan to clean the vase that got broke earlier.
Celestine went to her room and sleep. She let the man sleep in the living room because she thinks that there are no valuable things inside her home, except her family pictures and clothes of Caide. So he could and would never steal something.

Celestine woke up as soon as she heard her alarm clock sound. She went to the living room to check the man who snuck inside her house, but the man is gone.
She forgot to ask his name. She does not even know his identity. All she knew was he is surely a wealthy person and belongs to the family with a noble background.
Without knowing, the man already left her house as soon as his private car and assistant arrived at the address he sent to them. Exactly 6am, the time Celestine is still sleeping. His assistant brought his body guards with him to escort him along the way to his house. They were not so complacent about the situation, for they know, the person responsible for their master's danger, could harm him again. They need to be extra cautious because they did not know his enemy's identity.
Meanwhile, Celestine shook her head to avoid thinking about the mysterious man last night. She then prepared herself for her final exam at her school.
She went to school and about to take her final exam. Finally, all the hardships and time she spent studying will be paid off.
After her exam, she thinks about her future. After graduation, she need to study for the board. She doesn't have any time to waste. Her future is very important to her. Relying on others is not her character.
Celestine's a strong and independent woman and that was the reason why Caide loved her.
Before leaving the school premises, she decided to walk around the campus because this would be her final trip in her school, where all her dreams began.
She passed by the chemistry lab, where she and Caide used to study and do experiments before. She had many memories with Caide in that school, even the most embarassing moments with him.
When she was about to leave, she saw someone familiar in front of the library door.
"Is that... Caide?"
The figure of the man went inside the library, so she quickly ran to the door. When she was about to open the library door, she heard the noises of two people talking inside the library.
"Caide?" Celestine heard a woman's voice. Celestine already recognized that voice.
It was Elise.
"Caide, what are you doing here? You should still in the hospital and rest. Are you okay now?", Elise asked with concern on her face.
"Elise, I'm fine. My parents told me that you saved me." Caide smiled in front of Elise. "Thanks to you", then Caide held Elise's hand and kissed it gently.
I cannot believe this. He still don't remember anything? Whatever, everything is happening according to my plans. Elise thought while giving Caide a sweet smile.

(cellphone rings)
"Hello, Ms. Ramirez. It's Elise".
"Elise! Thank God you called. Don't worry, Caide's fine now. Few more days and he can now be discharged", Ms. Ramirez replied.
"Finally! Umm... (sighs) I guess there's nothing for me to worry about. Thanks for the news, Ms. Ramirez".
"Please, call me Auntie. And okay, see you soon, then".
Elise grinned.

"By the way, you should be with Celestine right now. Where is she, then?", Elise asked. She will test Caide if he could still remember Celestine.
"Celestine... Celestine, hmmm? I do not remember her. Anyway, I am here for you. I would like to ask you for dinner... um.. if you want?" Caide smiled at Elise.
"I'd loved to". Elise replied.
"I'll pick you up later then. Ummm... see you", then kissed Elise's hand again and left.
When Celestine felt Caide is about to open the door, she ran towards the corridor and hid.
After hearing those words, Elise's heart was delighted, while Celestine heart sunk.
"Caide, how could you do this to me? I am your woman". Celestine thought then tears came out of her eyes.
Celestine cannot take it anymore. She let the tears from her eyes fall because of the Caide. The fact that the man she loved is pursuing the woman who ruined their relationship and the one who made Caide ceased to remember her.
Elise opened the door.
"Caide, wait!" Elise walk towards him and held his hand.
Elise was happy today. She never thought about what she had done to him can make her really happy.
This is her dream, to marry Caide. To be with him. To settle with him. To live with him and have kids.
The first time she saw and had a conversation with Caide, she already fell in love with him. When she learned that Caide's lover was Celestine, she was jealously mad.
At first, she does not have any intention to ruin their friendship over a guy, but she cannot help it. She really loved Caide that she was willing to get him whatever happens, even if it takes Celestine to suffer.
Sorry, Celestine, but your happy days has come to an end. It is my turn now. Elise thought when she hugged Caide. She cannot stop smiling because of the warmth she felt from Caide.
"Let's go." Elise said with flirtatious voice. They left while Caide wrapped his left arm to Elise's shoulders.
Caide felt her body into his arms. That time he knew Elise likes her. Caide blushed when he saw Elise giving him a sweet smile.
He moved his head on his right side when she saw a woman standing, made him confused.
That woman, Celestine, is crying.
