Kevin pov. I'm just reading Maddy's email when I'm interrupted by my dad. "Kevin, my office, now." He orders through the mind link. Arg, what does he want now? Sighing, I get up and walk out of my office. I walk down the hall. You'd think it would be more convenient if our offices were next to each other, or if we worked in the same room, since I'm training to take over. But nothing is less true. My father has ensured my office is as far away from him as possible, so I sit across the hall. Which in our pack house is quite a distance. It doesn't surprise me though. It took me a lot of effort to convince him that I needed an office. He was so happy with himself when he finally agreed, and I thought that was strange.
