Go to training.

Maxine opened her eyes to find herself hanging in the air,she realized she was being carried like a sack of potato by someone.It was a man...Instead of panicking,she was calm,she was swaying in the air according to the man's movements.The area was not far from the building she had told Bernard to buy for her.Suddenly,the man halted and she was forcefully dropped on the ground.

"Is she still sleeping?"asked one of the men.

"I don't know,the drug that Mr.Paul gave me should have already subsided.He said it should take twenty five minutes, and now its been around thirty minutes," the taxi driver said.

Maxine clenched her fist,'that damned bald-headed man decided to make the move,'she thought.'Well, I haven't tasted myself ever since I came back from the training,I guess I should start doing analysis of how far I can go.'

"Well how about we start?"another man asked.

Maxine slightly opened her eyes to observe the environment, she saw five men,three of them were familiar to her.In her past life,they were the ones who kidn*pped her they hit her and left her in the middle of a dark alley,just like this one.'How comes they were sent by Mr Paul?Is there something I am missing?Or will the occuring changes create a big impact in my second life?'she wondered.

Before she could think further,she realized someone was moving closer, as the man moved closer, she could smell the scent of sweat,it was a very strong scent that can make one nauseated by it.She furrowed her brows,the irritation was pretty clear on her face,she wanted the man to move closer so that she could punch him,but the more he moved, the more she couldn't bear with it.She started coughing ,"can you take a bath?"She asked,taking short breathes after coughing for a few more times.

The man became angry, and gripped her hair tightly,"b***h, so you know how to talk?"

"Did they tell you that I was dumb?"Maxine retorted with a question

"A feisty one I see."

As he was trying to forcefully lift her up with her hair,Maxine took the chance and and kicked him very hard on his knee causing a bone dislocation.The man's face turned pale,which girl can hit someone and cause dislocation and with just one kick!?But by the time they all gained their senses,all five of them were on the floor unable to move. On the other hand, Maxine was lazily patting her clothes,after she was done, she patted her hands and then looked at them."Who dares send an antelope to fight a lion?"She smiled coyly,"anyway, that's not important ,what's important now is what to do with you."

In fear,one of them said,"let us go,please.I only did this for my family."

Maxine sneered,in her previous life,she had begged that same man,but the only thing the man said is,"I am just doing my job,"luckily,before the man had done anything to her,a man appeared and saved her.which reminds her,the man will be arriving soon.The only difference was that,before it was Mary who tricked her into going out of the campus,but this time..."Even if you kill us,the person will not let you go."

She smiled,"do you think I will let him go?Infact, you should worry about yourself,but don't worry,I can assure you that you will get out of this alley alive,but in a wheelchair."

Somewhere else...

"Scott, let me tell you one thing,"Max was speaking between gulps.After drinking beer and realizing they wouldn't get drunk easily, they decided to go with the whiskey.Scott was halfway drunk,Kane was keeping up and trying to remain sober,while Max was completely wasted,"the last time we left the club drunk,I thought I went to my apartment but I had given the driver my family's home address,"he paused, then hiccuped and continued,"I walked in and saw a figure coming towards me,with my reflex I took the syringe from my pocket and injected it on the person's neck,"he started crying,"the next day my father gave all the gardeners one day leave."

Scott couldn't help but smile,he had already understood what happened,"Look,I made him smile,"Max said,pointing at Scott.

On the other hand, Kane who was also a little drunk,had a slower reaction,"what really happened?Why did they leave."

Scott was already used to this, he hated it when Kane was drunk,especially during important missions,"I always tell you to drink less."

"The dark figure I injected with anesthesia was my father."Kane ,who had taken a sip of scotch spat it out all over Max' face,"can you try to control the direction of your mouth, this is the hundredth time you have done this!"He took the paper napkin from the table and wiped himself as he headed towards the bathroom,they all had mysophobia.

Scott stood up, "I am going to sleep,the two of you can suit yourself."

Two hours later, Scott suddenly woke up, his body was wet with sweat,"that dream again!"he muttered to himself.He has been having the same dream everytime he closed his eyes,today it was better.He got out of the bed and walked downstairs to the kitchen.

"Trouble sleeping?"Kane was in the kitchen with two bottles of water in his hands,he threw one to Scott who caught swiftly.

"I am having the same dream again, this time at least I slept for two hours,"he opened the bottle cap and drank the whole of it without stopping and threw the bottle in the bin,then took another cold bottle in the fridge.

"Dude,you should find a solution to that, it's been going on since you were ten years old,"Kane also took another bottle,"I always say I will not drink scotch,I have been drinking water for ten minutes,"he carried five bottles of water and walked out of the kitchen,"I am heading to sleep,my head is killing me."

Scott watched as he left and also followed him behind ,"I am heading to the study room,my brother has been nagging me with the land at city C."

It was ten o'clock in the morning, but Maxine was still sleeping.The alarm rang again causing her to frown,this time instead of turning it off she threw it to the wall and turned around to face the other side,not caring about the outcome.Before she could set herself in a comfortable position, her land line rang.Grogily, she sat up from the bed, scratching her head with her eyes still closed,"can't they let me sleep?"

"Madam,they are waiting for you."Jessy said.For the past time she had stayed with her boss, she knew that she wouldn't be happy for being woken up,but the five people she left her with yesterday haven't been giving her a peaceful time.

"Tell them I am on the way."she said.

Maxine was now sitting at the garden city villa with the five people at the opposite side,she took the cup with a very dark hot liquid and took a sip,"Jessy,should I reward you for knowing my taste?You have already known a few of my habits, the only mistake you make is choosing my dressing style."She took another sip from the black tea with the four tea leaves,"should I start shopping for myself?"

Jessy, was holding a notebook and a pen, ready to write down important information and her hand shook,'how could I let madam shop for herself?Uncle Bernard told me to dress Maxine as a lady, but she doesn't want it,what will I do?'Of course she couldn't say this out loud, "no, madam.I will do as you say."

"Forget it, just get me the contact information of Brandon Curtis,Mr. Sandalwood and Charles Anderson.If they refuse to pick up tell me," she took another sip,"then, check the highest bidding price of the land in City C, I will be joining soon."

After Jessy wrote down the information,she took the kettle with the hot water and added it to the almost empty cup then added another tea bag,"anything else?"

"Is there any news from Uncle Bernard and aunty Sophia?"She picked the tea cup and took a sip.She saw Jessy hesitating to speak,"you can say it, don't mind them.Think of them as statues."

The five of them were speechless ,who speaks like that infront of someone?

"Ms. Sophia said there's a problem with Russia, the stones have been delayed so they are still using the pink stones, and in Africa, the clients are complaining of fake stones."she observed Maxine for a while then said,"Uncle said the news of the partnership went well,but someone leaked the new bottle design and the formula of the perfume."

Maxine scratched her eyebrows, it seems like she will be taking three majors, including Business Management.In her past life,she only studied computer science,medicine and surgery."Okay, I will call them later.You can go and work on the other issues, I need feedback by the end of the day."She looked at the other five who were listening to their conversation,"now, are we going to talk or not?"She looked at the watch on her wrist,"I only have a few hours before my work starts.Before you make any decision, you should know that this will not be easy, infact, it will be the roughest journey of your life.You will break laws,maybe go to jail, save people, get hurt and many other things,"she smiled,"so what's your decisions ?"

"I don't know about the rest, but I am in,"Steel said.

"I am in, as long as Jaqueline is safe,"Woods joined.

"Count me in,"Emcee said.

"Me too,"Mag joined .

"So where do we start?" Matt asked.

"Start by training,I will take you somewhere for two and a half months, there will be someone to guide you,after that,you will come back and know the next step."
