At the same, in another private room, Scott and his friends were seated in another private room, the waiter opened the door and Max saw a figure flash by,"hey Scott,isn't that the same girl who you spoke to earlier,your neighbor?"

Scott turned to the door but only saw two figures passing by,he took another sip of his drink without saying anything else. Max got bored, he wanted to read Scott's reaction but it was blank.Scott had never approached an woman,they only approach him and he doesn't show any interest to them.However, this time, he approached his neighbor.

"How is your fiancee Norman,"Kane asked.

"Well, for starters, the ring was successfully removed from her stomach,"Norman replied expressionlesly causing Jinx,his best friend to spat out Scotch all over Max's face.

Max cursed through gritted teeth,"Damn it Jinx,couldn't you spat at someone else?Maybe..."He looked at their faces,"Jace!"He rumbled.

Jace sneered,"shame on you, you deserve it the most."

Jessy arrived and parked the car beside Maxine,she got out of the car and shook hands with Brandon.Brandon winked at her,"here comes the assistant!"He turned to Maxine,"hey, you have quite a talented assistant here,can I borrow her?"

Maxine smiled flirtatiously,"well how about she decides for herself?I bet she is tired of my rules."She glanced at Jessy then back at Brandon,"how about we go together,you might get to know each other while I drive you back."

Jessy shivered,'madam,that look scares me,'she thought.

Brandon went along with Maxine's words, he had seen Jessy's expression and decided to go along with it,"how about I go back to my hotel today, then I can come over for a chat tomorrow with my clothes packed,"he said,winking at Jessy.Jessy only turned around and marched back to the car,well,not marching but running,"well,be careful,we don't bite

They got to the car and drove Brandon back to his hotel.After that,Maxine told Jessy to drive her to the other building,but she suddenly grew conscious of a sudden feeling,"Have you ever worn that dress before?"

"No madam,this is a new dress, I just bought it the other day."

"Your dress seems so familiar?"Maxine felt like she had seen that dress code from before,it's like she was trying to remember something.

"Maybe you saw it at your university with one of the students."

Maxine felt like the explanation was rather possible,and decided to put the thought at the back of his mind,"Is everything okay?"

"Yes madam,Mr Sandalwood agreed to sell the land to you,the offer we gave him was higher than the other company."

"That's good. How about the other building?"She asked.

"The other building is also proceeding well,they are on the final touches,by the time the group comes back,it will be all done."

Maxine took out her phone and sent another link to Boris.She wasn't scared because she knew they couldn't trace her,but she wasn't afraid of being traced,she just wanted to use him as a puppet before she discards him.Suddenly, an image flashed through her mind,a bloody image and she rememberd the dream,

When she looked ahead at the wind screen,she saw the familiar road in her dream, then she saw the truck on one side,and the cliff ahead,then she remembered that was the same dress that Jessy had worn that day,"Jessy,make a quick U-turn,drive faster until we reach the junction.

Jessy had also noticed the truck coming toward them at a high speed and she had started to panic,"Madam,will we be okay?"

Maxine spoke in a calm voice,"Jessy,stay calm,just imagine you are a part of that fast and furios movie that you like watching." Maxine knew she could use a invincible force to shield them,but, she did not know who these people are,plus she didn't want to expose her abilities to unknown people, all she can do was to encourage Jessy,and it worked. At first, Jessy slowed down and then with a quick speed,made a U-turn and cut through the other lane.Without any intention to stop,or slow down, she increased the engine and ran through a few red lights.

"We are going to change the routes,I bet there will be someone following us discreetly."Maxine said.

"How do you know that madam?"

"Because, when you were busy driving,I noticed the truck driver talking through a walkie talkie.Either he is informing someone else about the route we took or reporting on a mission failure."Just after she finished speaking,the car was suddenly hit by another car and according to the speed they were in,the impact was too bad.

As the car spin in the air Maxine used her powers to control the impact of it dropping on the floor, "are you okay,"she asked as she turned to look at Jessy,but Jessy wasn't responding,instead there was blood flowing from the side of her head.She was slightly shocked,with little movement in the car,she couldn't do anything ,"Pin I can't let her die,what should I do?"

"Have you ever tried the healing method?I once saw one of your ancestors using it."

"I don't know,I read some parts in the books you gave me but I haven't started practicing it."A normal person might think she had fainted but she was in deep conversation with Pin."Even so, I still don't think it might help,through my observation,the shattered glass had penetrated inside her head,if she goes through normal surgery,she might stay in a coma or die due to excessive bleeding."
