28 Guy opened his eyes to stark white walls. No, they weren’t actually white. The fluorescent light bulbs above, cast a harsh yellow glow that hurt his eyes, and he closed them again. With his eyes closed, his other senses came alive. His body ached in every crevice. He felt cold, as though he were in the winter without a coat. He knew he was lying down on something soft. A bed? It had to be. It wasn’t the hard floor he remembered crashing onto, before everything went dark. He felt his toes. They tingled as though they rested on a guitar string strummed hard. His fingers felt the same. But his fingers came in contact with something warm. Guy chanced his eyes open again, looking down instead of up. He was in a bed, covered in a wool blanket.
