Dangerously in Love

CHAPTER 11: UNBLOCKED

As she waited on the line at a cinema for her movie ticket, she decided to chat Mark and give him an update about her decision to unblocked Ivan.

She wasn't sure either or not, Mark would like the idea but she just wants to give him the updates anyway.

She texted, "Babes, please don't be mad. But after I blocked him, my gut feeling told me that he is real. So I decided to unblock him and he sent me his selfie. And I also chat with my friend who is experienced in online dating, she says that he is real, not a scammer. And he is handsome, Mark... like he's Russian. I hope you're not mad... "

Mark then replied a few short minutes after with a caps lock, "ANYA. NO. BAD GIRL!!!! He's fake!!!"

She then replied to him, "Please don't be mad at me.... "

Mark replied to her, "Until he says let's do a video call then I will believe. I told you! Don't talk to him anymore. He's fake!!" 

She can only just reply to him, "Ok, we'll see" over the video call thing. 

Mark then added, "Your friend is delusional. Please be careful. I know you feel lonely and wanting a companion and totally understand that babes! But he's fake. Please don't talk to him anymore. The only way you will prove me wrong is he does a video call." 

She's thinking about this but then she replied to him, "He said he will do a video call when the timing is right, my other friend told me normally is three months for them to be ready at the video call." 

Mark replied, "Anyway, you're a smart girl. Just don't open up to him. And tell him you want to do a video call." 

She added, "He also said that he'll be coming to Sydney, Australia for a one week conference, and after the conference, he will visit me in Indonesia :) - so hopefully that's true." 

Mark replied, "Babes, no offence but that's stupid. To be honest with you. He's fake. Someone is pretending to be him. Just keep your eyes open. I know he is fake. But if you feel that he's real then do what makes you happy. But babes, he's so fake." 

She replied, " I will be careful, thanks, babes... This is why I love you. Because you're trying to protect me. LOVE YOUUU xx." 

He replied, "He's cloning a millionaire come on, Anya. Catfish 101. Of course, I am!!! You are my best friend!" 

She replied to him with triple heart emoji.  

He then added, "Babe, tell him to send you a selfie of him holding 4 fingers. Don't worry about a video call. Get him to take a selfie with 4 fingers." 

She replied, "I did ask him a selfie with a peace sign and a silly face and he sent me one." 

Mark replied, "Show me. Tell him four fingers. Because a peace sign is common." 

She then forwarded Ivan's recent selfie picture to Mark and the recent story that he posted on his i********:. 

Mark then replied, "Babes, he's fake! Tell him okay! Trust me, I got your back and I know what's best. Don't want anyone to laugh at you or waste your time." 

She replied, "Thank you babes x" 

He added, "Okay, ask him now and let me know. If he says no then block him and give me his number and I will tell him off for wasting my best friends time. What's his i********:?" 

She was a bit scared that Mark would chat Ivan up so she didn't give him any but she gave him his i********: handle, "ivan_dimitri" and told him to chill and asked him, "What are you going to do about it? Please don't send him a DM." 

He replied, "Nah, just to refresh my memory. LOL, I won't. Babes, he's fake. I love you and always will protect you." 

She replied to him, "Thanks babes, I know you do... Love you too " 

After a few days, she just continues to chat with Ivan. Ignoring what Mark is sayings. A couple of days later, she texted Mark, "I wanna talk about the guy but please don't judge me " 

Mark replied, "OMG. I will never judge you!! Talk. LOL." 

She replied, "Ok then. LOL. He said he will be coming next month to Indonesia. So I'm going to see him." 

Mark replied, "Wait what!!! Have you seen him?" 

She replied, "Not yet." 

He added, "Video call?" 

She replied, "But he's coming next month. Nope, he doesn't want to do video call but I've chatted with a psychic who predicts about my breakup with Andre before and she said he is real. Please don't judge. Haha." 

At this stage of Anya and Ivan relationship, Anya has consulted and spent money on two or three psychics through an app called, Kasamba. It's her only go to, to know either Ivan is real or not or to see his spirits and how things are connected with her. 

Mark then replied, "O M G. N O. I CAN'T WITH YOU ANYA!!! " 

She then replied to him, "Please don't be mad at me "

Mark said, "You are not meeting up with him until you see him on a video call. HE'S LYING. HE'S NOT COMING. HE'S GOING TO SAY HE IS GOING TO BUT THEN SAY CORONA VIRUS WON'T ALLOW HIM TO COME." 

She thought to her self, "Wow. OK. Mark." and replied to him, "We'll see. If he's not coming then I'll forget about him." 

Mark added, "You have to tell him. If I don't do a video call then I'm not seeing or talking to you. You need to know for sure if he is real." 

She then sent Mark her Psychic chat screenshot.

Mark then replied, "OMG. IT'S A SIN. PSYCHIC IS A SIN. " 

She replied, "MARK... " 

Mark added, "I can't hate you. Because you make me laughed so much. " 

She then replied to him with monkey face emoji three times. 

Mark replied, "Please Anya... I'm being serious. Don't trust him." 

She replied, "I will be careful. I can assure you that." 

And then suddenly after being negative towards her, he then replied her with, "LMAOOO... OMG Imagine you guys get married. I will apologies for everything I said." 

She then replied, " I think when he come, he's going to propose to me. Cuz that's what he intends to say with our last phone call." 

Mark replied, "NO. I CAN'T ANYA. WHAT PROPOSAL. HE'S FAKE." 

She replied, "We'll see in a month We'll know in a month from now. I'll keep you posted." 

Mark replied, "ANYA. I'M ACTUALLY CRYING. I LOVE YOU. "

She replied, "I LOVE YOU " 

Mark replied, "NOW YOU ARE TAKING IT ON ANOTHER LEVEL. YOU HAVEN'T EVEN MEET THE GUY YET ALONE PROPOSAL." 

She quickly replied, " Well, if he's meant to be, you'll never know rightttttt? :D " 

Mark replied to her, "No. Anya. No. This is not a movie. This is real life." 

She replied, "Did you read what the psychic is saying? 

Mark replied, "Wake up. f**k THAT PSYCHIC. I'M BETTER. BE CAREFUL. AND DON'T TRUST HIM. I know you are a smart girl, I just don't want you to get hurt." 

She replied, "I will not... but the funny thing about him is, I've blocked him but I kept thinking about him... so that must be a sign right...?" 

Mark replied, "No, Anya, You're just bored. No sign there. " 

Her movie is about to start so she decided to sign off with Mark. 

"Alright, I'm going to watch 'Bloodshot' now. See you babes. Love you." 

Mark quickly replied, "Love you more... thanks for making me laugh so hard." 

She replied with smiles, "Hahaha... you are very welcome." 

She then continues her normal life by watching the movie and go home by her self. She thoughts about what Mark is saying but at this stage of her life with Ivan, her feelings have grown much bigger towards Ivan. So she ignores what Mark is saying about Ivan. She just texted him to fill up her boredom in waiting for the queue line but she also appreciates their friendship. They love to talk aloud.
