Pacing around the room, I thought hard, contemplating whether I should go there. The thought of stepping out of this room alone was torture and I didn't know if I was ready for that. Biting my lower lip, I paused, taking a deep breath. My vision aligned with the framed photo of Brian at the top of the bed and it stirred a sensational wave around me, my skin tingling for his hold. As much as I missed the physical touch, honestly, I missed talking to him. It had always been nice to have someone to share every useless detail of my life with, over text or in-person, but he wasn't even responding to my texts anymore. This was clearly his bedroom, but he had never been here again. I stepped out of my bedroom, and once again, no one paid attention to my presence. It made me feel a strange unset
