We decided humans needed to be dealt with before Vatra gave birth. I didn’t want that little one to lose her parents as I have. It had been several weeks since I took over as Queen of Dragons. The pack had been alive with training and preparations.
Our teams were gathering as much intel as possible. What we had learned was there was only 1 family of hunters left. Their ancestors were the ones who started the hunting of dragons. They were jealous of the power we held. When one of Dante’s ancestors refused to gift them with the power of a dragon, they sought reparations in the form of extinguishing our species.
Their goal was to go after the other supernaturals once they had removed dragons from the world.
