I woke to the feeling of excitement running through me. She never told me when we would leave. Just to watch for.
I got out of bed and ran down the stairs. Ekkon, Dante, Vatra, and several others were sitting around the table nursing their coffees. All eyes turned to me as I stopped in front of them. I explained everything I had learned. At first everyone was looking at me like I had completely lost it. Once I got more into detail, their faces turned to one of excitement. We would finally have a place to call our own.
Ekkon agreed to help me start preparing anyone who wanted to come with us. Dante and Vatra agreed to go as long as Vatra wasn’t too far along at that point. Otherwise, they would come later.
